april´s fool...reference: a woman from Cachemira, India. Munira Bi of 95 years old, who can´t stop laughing when people take her a photo. Appears in the newspaper today.

At first I thought this was done by zep. But then I realised that it had something to do with the thick lines for the shading which is great. It really adds effect. Reminds me of those illustrations in some youth fiction novels. Qué bueno!

sketchy Eh, I was hoping I'd think of a background but I couldn't think of anything so I just did this simple crappy one....I'd like to come back to it if I can ever think of something good to do

The guy turned out really well, but it'll look even better when you come up with a better background. If anything, a moderately dark grey might do better as the lower shade of the background. I dunno. You'll figure it out, just play around with stuff on the canvas for a bit instead of thinking so hard about it, I guess. Sometimes that works for me, because I tend to overthink my drawings too sometimes.
