a cute little snowman would be good too ya know? :)
ya know this whole Christmas thing? Well, sometimes I'd be happier if I could just bake a cake and sing Happy Birthday Jesus and then it wouldn't be soooo exhausting!
hounie (Dec 15, 2007)

There are assholes on the internets? Who knew? Let's make sure we feed them lots of attention when they try to provoke us.
Axil62 (Dec 12, 2007)
So anyway, speaking of the Vietnamese...

lori (Dec 12, 2007)
oh my god..... lol.... I'm sorry, some is not lol ok? but some is.... the picture: it's a fine looking cowboy drawing by arthritic hands gloworm(I too know what that feels like and it's not pretty)...I would love to visit more of the south someday
I have made alot of "acquaintances" as my father would call them, here at this site and other drawing sites, who are from the south
hounie (Dec 12, 2007)

I'm not aware of wings, just that I feel like I'm swimming in the air and people are down below watching me
I will try to make this better but keep in mind that my eyes are not working properly lately, the majority of the time

Looks good, we have several blue jays around this part of the country! but I know after watching a hawk attack one, there not friends. The hawk held it down and plucked its feathers, then ate it.

the first version, before you went bonkers, looked a lot like the kind of thing that Matisse guy did.
emmamommalag (Dec 23, 2007)
A lot of Matisse's stuff would likely get dumped on here, too.
lori (edited Dec 23, 2007)

Atlantis???

Hehe... It looks like an old submerged toy boat. xD
I'll keep working on this. The harp at the center of the city is bugging me, as well as the walls and the invisible tower (this is not supposed to be invisible). ;]

The compressed version looks bad... view the animation for a higher res. please. :]

Wow, I love the feeling of this. Yes, very underwater, and very deep under water feeling too.

thank you so much (:
lori (edited Dec 12, 2007)
if your feeling is as you say, maybe you can be as forgiving as he was...?
I do not know. It takes ALOT of concentration for me to find answers I need that way.
I wish you luck, nevertheless, in whatever path you choose.
All I really remember of my particular religion is reading the entire bible when I was about 7.
Since, I have had my own son and now they have much more comprehensible bibles :)
So, I took the wrong rd., nevertheless... and this is what I got. ok? Just think about that and go with your own personal instinct, that's my opinion. Throws hands up.....;)
Miss_DJ (edited Jan 13, 2008)
the most important thing to remember, in my opinion..is to always remember He will never give up on you.
Many things are difficult, if not impossible in this realm, to understand about the mind of God. That's where Faith comes in....and trust.
The timing of God is perfect. I believe this now more than I ever have. Just always know that He loves you, and created you to be who you are, and has a plan for your life.

When my son was O D' ing on Crack and Heroin at age 14, I could have screamed where were YOU GOD! But, it was Him who saved his life. Him that carried ME, too, through that hell. Now, 8 years later, my son is fully committed to being clean/sober and has turned his will and life over to the care of God. He says he's the happiest he's ever been in his life since making the decision to serve Him.

I believe in miracles. The impossible becomes possible, with God. I hope you find your way back to Him, too.

Cameo (edited Jan 13, 2008)
The particular passage you are speaking about was set in the time of the Church at Corinith. This was a church just starting out. In this church, the women sat on one side of the church and the men sat on the other. When something was said that the women didn't understand they would call out to their husbands and ask them what it meant. That was when Paul wrote this in the bible, addressed to this church. That was how my preacher once explained it to me and it certainly makes sense. If you will study the Bible a little more, you will find that there are many women in the Bible that preached the gospel. I think one of them was Phoebe. I hope that helps you some. Please don't give up on God! God won't let go of you if you will look to Him. :o)
