GASP he got so hungry he ate his sword!... or Im just too lazy to finish it =P but anywayzz, was researching the embera and wounan tribe in (south america?) and I found out that they place a lot of emphasis on their body art, so I decided to add that to his arms in the study. So, another torso study since my last one. Learned a few things about anatomy (thanks maiko & HunterKiller ^^) , Helpful critique appreciated. =D Kanpai. |

Oh wow, the hair and mouth are GORGEOUS! The hair is especially shiny and Yummy-so is the blood splatter 8DI can't help but feel the eyes could have been worked on more. I find myself wanting to see more detail in those icy blue eyes, much like you did with the nose, mouth and hair. Other than that awesome work :D!

Beautiful shading, especially on the hair and mouth XD Just wow.I think if you sharpened up the chin and nose it would be complete. Ignore hideyourface, he/she apparently doesn't know how to be nice. |

Thank you. :) You know, all these years my Daddy had never seen any of my digital art, and he came over recently, this was one of the things I showed him. He never once said anything about the "art" or if I "did okay"... He smiled at this and said... I remember that... and you were always the prettiest, happiest little girl. Then he kept smiling. I guess that means I did okay, here, I'm still not sure. :)

Thanks, the description means like theres a typical view for certain behaviors, like if you groan or anything the picture is representing how they view you. |

Thanks :)I totally agree with you Miss DJ. I mostly use just fragments of a ref to have some shapes I can play with, or to learn something about anatomy. ...So this time I tried without anything. Wanted to be free like a bird...^^ But this piece has to wait a while to be finished, because the god of anatomy has changed his mind, so that I seem to get nothing right again -_- Good thing I'm posting in the beginner boards.

silly marcus.. aurora IS the northern lights.. most times though it's just a pale green...sometimes it's brilliant colors but mostly the green

HideYourFace: I dont believe that it is this time really, because if you are judging the size of his waiste torso sash (belt or whatever I made it to be :P) it would actually be correct due to the thickness of his belt. Take away the belt, and his torso would be acurate.
