the rounded edges on the ends of the guy second from the right's hair are kind of annoying. I really like this style though. You should draw cool people like this.

In anycase, I like this pic all the same. I espically like how you mushed all that black into one shape. We still know that they have seperate bodies, but the black makes teh faces jut out even more.

maybe make the thighs less muscular becus when it's like all big it looks like she has a lot of testosterone. feet smaller, too. arms a bit longer. neck longer.

It's not done, so I dont see how you can decide its not for the intermediate board. And, the best stuff on here is mostly not anime. The fact that this isn't anime doesn't mean it belongs on beginner.

Well, it might not "blow them away" but it will probably BLOW, ha.

you should try to draw more freely and not focus on the rules that need to be followed, such as the folds and clothes and where to shade. You should look at a real person and learn the rules. Then if you wanna draw anime, just draw a cartoon and use the rules you've learned from your own eye.

I know, and usually I do. I just have a lot of trouble in general with oekaki's. Also, I think it might make more sence when you realize in the final he's holding a giant lightsource of a fireball.

WELL thanks. I didn't put any more effort into these than I did with previous pictures. I can guess they just magically decided to look better.

"Effort" doesn't always produce good art, it has to be combined with other things. I do believe in magic, but I don't think that's what happened here. You have it in you, and especially when you don't try too hard. When your "reins" get loosened, you'll be able to run. :)

thats the problem with lineart. If you cant keep the mouse/tablet steady, it'll look scribbly, and if you use the line tool, you'll never advance past that. So, the only way to get better it to draw freehand. The line tool will make things look ok, but thats the way they'll always stay. ok.

My mouse sucks and isn't easy to use so i do find the linetool to come in hand after giving up on trying to draw freehand.

i still can't believe you draw everything with a mouse...*jealous*
