I had a couple of those planes too.they was fun to play with. Life seemed to be so simple back in those days. But today, the kids will probably never know what it is like to have that kind of fun.

Yep.. I have a Gypsy Moth.. a very large F4U corsair and a Sopwith Camel.. also have a bunch of plastic .. a great Me109 by matchstick.. a B24J some cars mostly 60s and 70s cars a 240Z a Nova a Mustang A Camaro A Charger and a bunch of Ships a HUGE Constitution (also have a wooden one to build) ..on and on and on.. if I can ever retire... some day I will probably make them

I agree with you "catfish".....life was so simple back in those days. Kids.....nowadays....are too tied up with their computers, and video games, and cell phones, etc......they don't know what having fun is all about...."lol"!! I prefer the more simpler kind of life that we had ...back in the "good ole days". "DaVinci".....you really have an awesome collection of old model kits.......I really hope that someday you will have the time to start building them again. I would love to see that huge wooden "constitution".......:) |

Your waterfall scene was looking pretty good too.....but this "pic" is really beautiful.....it's such a peaceful, relaxing scene. Great draw!! :)

Some Hopi Indians live in Arizona, in adobe buildings, similar to these. I never drew adobe pueblos before....I hope I did ok. I did use a "ref" pic, but my version looks completely different.......I don't think I did the "ref" pic justice, but I tried my best.....this draw was too frustrating, and I'm tired of messing around with it....so I'm posting it as "Finished"...."lol"! I'm having problems trying to reply to your "comments'......it keeps saying that I can't "double post".....so I have to reply to your comments up here....so I want to Thank you "MissDj", and "DaVinci", and "Bette", and "Wraith" for all of your nice comments.....I really do appreciate it. I'm glad you all like this draw.....and I'm glad to be done with it....."lol".....:)

I good now I'm seeing it on my PC screen. This style of building reminds me of the Tuzigoot Museum grounds. It's in Arizona in a river valley area called CornVille / Page Springs area.Of course most of the structures there have been recreated. But the way you have the roof logs coming out of the walls and the multi levels arranged as do . The Tuzzigoot buildings have been reconstructed to look.

Hi "Marlon"......I've never been to see the "Tuzigoot Museum" grounds. It sounds like an interesting place to visit though......I would love to be able to see it. This is from an old movie that I like starring "Robert DeNiro"......called "Taxi Driver". I'm posting this as "finished".....I don't know what else to add to it. I was experimenting with the texture tools to see if I could make the "pic" look bright and sparkly.....but I've decided not to use "texture".....so I'm not gonna change it....it's gonna stay "dark" and ominous looking. I kinda like it dark anyway.....it "fits" the movie. I can always make changes later....if I feel like it....but for now.....I'm satisfied with it. :)

I'm glad you like the "pic"......I may try and do more to it, but I don't think there's much more that I can do......unless I brighten it up some, but I kinda like it dark.....Ill have to experiment a little with it, to see what else I can do to it. Yes, I agree "DaVinci"....it was a good movie. I'm a huge "Robert DeNiro" fan....I like all of his movies. Thanks again for your comments....I appreciate it. :)

I apologize for submitting this draw in the advanced boards......it should be moved to "intermediate". I needed to use a bigger board for this "pic". I'm finally posting this draw as "finished".....I don't know what else to do to it. If I try adding anything else....it will look too cluttered. :)
