Try Oekakibbs! despite it's quirks, it's pretty nice. And you can basically make the same effects as Paintbbs in it. And maybe flames are easier to draw in Oekaki, but i wouldn't know. Jest a tip.

K, I'll definately try it. The smear affect in oekaki is awesome for drawing realistic fire, my only concern with it is last time i drew something it messed up the animation and I couldn;t edit the picture. :(

Here's your character, Demonic_Pixie. I put a little spin on it. About half-way through drawing this i pondered if the clothing was supposed to be so...modern. Oh well. And I didn't put the dragon in, because I can't draw dragons for beans. I hope I followed the directions well enuf... Oh well. Hope you like it! and tell me what you think!

AAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!I lost another 1. not because of a fault with OekakiBBS but my dad came in and i said could you leave this open please and he then closed it!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

something like that happened to me too. I was playing around with the power strip under my computer with my feet (involuntarily) while I was working on my Cloud Strife pic. I accidentally pressed the power switch and my computer switched off. It was coming along pretty good too. ... I think I have a curse. :-P

Haha, I know the power strip thing... I use laptops now so I don't need to worry. ;-)Keep in mind you can send your image then finish it later! (Although oekakibbs tends to corrupt saved animations.)

yah...I stayed up till 1 in the morning to finish Hellfire Inferno cuz i didn't want to leave it alone. I don't use those "safety saves" anymore.

Yah. I like 'em too. :) Anyhoo, It's called keenspace.com and the strip is called Room 42. But, the strip isn't up yet, and the form said 8-9 weeks to get up on the site, and i think i filled out the form in sept., but...damn, hasn't it been 8 or 9 weeks already? I have a ton of strips all ready to go... I love your character, by the way! Nice shading, and your style is really cool!

maybe, maybe not. Oekakibbs screwed up on me before, and I couldn't finish it, because the edit wouldn't finish. If i was you, I'd just start over. Or yu could try the animation anyway, it might work. |
