Thats a bright picture, she must be blinded. The picture gives me a feel of anticipation. Or something along the lines of...Um.. Setting your eyes on the prize before you take it. Great work.

Hey, I know for a fact the Texas Gulf coast Sun is brighter than that even! Like this mucho. Your technical skills are beyond astounding, but I must admit, I kind of like not being given all the info all the time. I get to look at this wonder all kinds of things. Such a dreamlike work with ice cream colors. :) (Blue Bell of course!)

aw it's very soft and calming, and you don't suck at all =]maybe soften the stars a little? keep it up!

the boats got some good details, but water isn't flat and shiny like that, the the horizon isn't wiggly like that, just pay more attention to the structure of your drawing. draw a little bigger as well, that would probably help. nice try |

cute!my favorite old school disney movie..because baby elephants are the cutest thing ever! and when the mom is locked up and she rocks him to sleep in her trunk it ALWAYS makes me cry..AND! it has a good message. so there.

Thanks everybody!Frootcake: I could try out shi. I'll do my next painting in that. I'm a children's book illustrator, and my agency needed a painting of a 5 yr. old girl, shoulders up for an ad. And I procrastinated too much and the deadline was yesterday! I figured I could do a quick painting here. So, I needed it to shrink down to 300dpi for print (that's why its so huge). All your comments are reassuring, because I was afraid this wouldnt cut it.... looking at it now I can see that the hair kinda sucks, but oh well.
