not advanced i know, i was just playing. move or delete if you have timepersonally i think the female waist is the sexiest body part. and does anyone else dislike their "natural" style.? like no matter what style you go for, it always looks like "your" style. i just think i always make the same mistakes, and choices during the drawing process. just a thought.
hideyourface (Dec 18, 2005)
I think you may have used to many low opacity strokes. try setting the opacity real high sometimes and dont blend too much.
fleeting_memory (Dec 18, 2005)
please practice on a lower board-especially if you think it shouldnt be here |

Nice shading . The one on the right looks like a little duck.

Saw this as your icon and had to find it in your gallery. Cool stuff.
Sweetcell (May 29, 2006)
One of the first things an artist learns how to render to understand dimension shadows and highlights. Spot on frootcake.Wouldn't the disks edge have a slight hint of hightlight (reflective light?) Sorry quibbling. Ignore the silly lady. |

may i ask ppls opinions of modern art? is it art?
LisaAnne (Dec 17, 2005)
I'd say this is an interesting take on Rothko...I do like "modern" art, but not all of it...hell I don't like most art in general. I do think it is very valid art though. Rothko is one of my favorites...nice to see someone take an interest in his work. |

looking great so far...cant wait for finish :)
flopsymopsy (Dec 18, 2005)
I live fairly close to the Grand Union Canal (south of B'ham), and this picture looks tremendous. The wrought ironwork in the foreground adds depth - I look forward to seeing this finished :) |
