hm-different from version two. I liked the natural feel of the older one but the newer one looks good too and has a very porcelin doll feel to it.

Just a try on 3d glass n shade. No ref. Kinda weird i tried using rectangle-selectiontool, but then it start to error,.. (for your info) I got bored of it, so its the way it is.. Better try something new...

I did a doodle of my Chara Hodo in this pose last night...and figured I'd try to oekkai it with a background...I'm obsessed with Hodo lately. <3 I really stink at Backgrounds...any tips on how to improve on them? critique always loved. PS not done, excuse the scribbleness.....I have to go to work in liker....five minutes. D= )

I like the background! it looks like a watercolour or oil pastel wash...I felt like fleshing out Hodo a little more...I'd rather work slowly on this picture and see how well I can make it come out.
as ever, all critique welcomed. <3 Finally got around to finishing it...still open to help about backgrounds and such.

This one was my favorite entry in this contest! (well, apart from mine of course..;)..) It's not only far more skillful than the original, but it goes to show that when you acquire more skills, you can take risks and chances to modify and apply your o w n artistic vision much more effectively. |
