magichorse (May 4, 2010)
Negativity as in downing other people's beliefs. Especially when the belief system is based on love and kindness towards others (e.g. Gandhi, Buddha, Martin Luther King Jr., etc all figures of history who were killed for wanting to help people and encourage others to help each other) what reason do you have to bash them?
Roytje (May 4, 2010)
I also believe he isn't coming. Are you downing my beliefs too?
backmagicwoman (May 4, 2010)
It's not anyone's place to down anyone elses beliefs..and that goes for everyone involved... |

staci (Apr 29, 2010)
good job not overworking it. was this drawn from a photo ref or an actual painting? oh btw im sure whoever "scowell" is will be leaving a comment shortly since everyone seems to think he is me, or i am him. can't be fucked caring, but you seem to.
Flubbles (Apr 29, 2010)
It was from a photo ref. I tried to keep it as simple as possible which as you know is not my strong suit. I dont think your scowell, your normally rude to me in your own name.
backmagicwoman (Apr 30, 2010)
Really very pretty..simple but kinda elegant at the same time..like a beautiful rainy fall morning.
firecracker (May 2, 2010)

them no good low down crude oil blues.
montezmaria (May 2, 2010)
This is really beautiful, just as it is. I can only imagine it finished ...how amazing this will be. Love her expression, the canvas size and the curves in it. Sorry, didn't mean to bump this to the top, just wanted to complete it. I kept thinking about that poem "Ozymandius" while I was playing with the watercolour brush...trying to make it look like her body was made of sand, blowing away in the wind.
I met a traveler from an antique land Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone Stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, Half sunk, a shattered visage lies, whose frown, And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command, Tell that its sculptor well those passions read Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things, The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed; And on the pedestal these words appear: “My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look upon my works, ye Mighty, and despair!” Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away. by Percy Bysshe Shelley
Flubbles (May 18, 2010)
I've got a book of poems from when I was a kid and this is one of the poems.
