thanks guys I feel so rusty after not drawing in so long O yea I finally took my State Nursing board exam & I am now a LPN XD now I just need a job XP wish me luck on that I'm putting in applications right now

Well....I was just getting ready to delete this draw.....I was gettin' sick of messing around with it.....but instead of deleting it, I decided to set it on fire instead...."lolz"!! Sooo....my poor Batman is gonna have to deal with this fire.....I hope he makes it out alive!! HaHa!! :) I'm gonna post this as finished for now.....I'll work on it more later,,,,but I need the room to start a new draw.....Thanks everyone for all of your nice comments......you saved batman from being "deleted"...."lol"!! :)

I was going to delete this draw.....it wasn't looking like I wanted it to look, so that's why I "set it on fire"...."lol". I'm glad you're trying watercolour because I think the medium would lend itself to your style. If you can find it, there is a book by a woman I think you would really like. It's called 'How to Make a Watercolor Paint Itself' by Nita Engle. Thanks for sharing your class paintings. It takes awhile to work out all the properties of the different pigments--transparent, opaque, staining, etc. Then you have to play with working wet in wet, wet on dry, dry on dry, and refine your lost and found edge technique. It's hard and frustrating but also the most fun and magical when it works, IMO.

Mmmm! Nice interplay of the warm and cool colours together! I got the sense of a forest fire. I am liking how you keep the movement and looseness with your paints. Though I can admire the control achieved, I don't find myself liking watercolours that get too 'tight', too detailed. This painting has a nice balance of a little detail with a lot of impression.

that face is really lovely and the colors are great.. but if you can soften the lines around the nipples and use a darker flesh tone to outline them, they would look more natural.

thanks BDE, I knew I didn't like the way they looked but did not know how to fix them
