That's one interpretation sephiroth. I was thinking more along the lines of he's in lurve. Prettied himself up to go courting. Look at those lovesick eyes. I'm sure he would agree that he's looking very sexy, Lori. ;) I probably should have made him blush.

This is pretty cool actually. I like looking at the transition of the cheek textures to the hair. I get some strange comfort in viewing that. It's always fun just starting a piece having no idea what you're gonna draw and you add on little things that you think will help the piece out, and then view the outcome. It's like a surprise to yourself :).

i love my cousin's eyes, their so beautiful!! So i drew them here... umm.... please be kind on my drawing, i have finally gut up the guts to start learning how to draw real human faces on my drawing pad... so it is a big step for me to draw them here... ^_^ ......... I think this is one of the most awesome drawings you've ever draw Lori. Making it sharper or spending more time on it could ruin it's dynamic qualities. It would be cool to see you spend 3-4 hours on a piece like this but hey, I rarely do that either so I should stfu.

What Cloxboy said, detailing and sharpening it up would kill what's already here. Not all pictures are meant to be viewed up close after all. Actually, it takes a good eye to be able to add just the right highlights and blotches of colors to make it look realistic from a distance (not to mention keeping proportion as well). I think it's impressive the way it is. |

One pretty easy way to improve your artwork is to start using layers. Hope that helps.
