How can you record brush settings on a hidden layer? Writing the specs down you mean? The storing colors one I knew already. Never understand the swatch tabs you can get with Shi-painter (Waste of space).

Very nice drawing by the way, I like how it looks as if he is looking through a veil or a curtain. Don't know if that was what you're aiming at.

I've tried "messing" around with the "bezier" before.....but I can't seem to get the "hang of it". It's difficult to work with.....so I just don't use it.

I think the pink in the shading on the front girl should be toned down a little, and I think it would look nice if you used a little blending and some subtle gradients. The blank space at the bottom is pretty distracting and throws off the balance a lot, so even if it's hard or time-consuming, you should try to fix that. After all, it's nice to challenge yourself sometimes.

I hope I don't sound condescending or anything --- this has a lot of potential and I'd like to see where it leads :D

gosh darn this is good, and so nice to see you commenting...I love it. I knkow we keep having this discussion but as good as this is, on my computer screen it has red and green blotches on his skin and his hair. You have said in the past that my screen is not as bright as yours probabally, but I think mine is too bright and therefore intensifing the greens and reds. As I have said before, when I see my draws on screens at school, they are not nearly as bright as I see them when I am drawing them. This concerns me because I think that people are not seeing what I intend my pics to look like. Well....enough said about that....

This is so well executed in every way. Your sense of propotion and subtle lighting that these masters are bringing out in your work is so nice to see. Keep them coming Flubbles.

Love this! My fav is that fish in the birds mouth. I had to smile from the expression the fish is making. Poor thing, but it is nature taking place.

Err, yes he's MALE and no he doesn't look girly because it's manga style, he is a real person and he is in a visual kei/j-rock band, it is common in these type of bands to see girly looking men @_@

firecracker: Marcello pays for this site, the more bandwidth you want for a site, the more you have to pay. A larger "canvas" takes up more bandwidth. He used to have a link for donating to the site, I don't know what happened to that, but basicly the idea is to not waste bandwidth on crap.

"OK"....I understand now....I didn't know there was a "cost" involved. It makes sense to me now, so I won't complain any more about it. That's a good idea to not waste bandwidth on crap, but so far, most of the draws that I've seen posted here are really awesome....I love browsing thru all the pictures......but I have to agree...I've seen some pretty "crappy" ones posted here too. Thank you "Axil" for explaining this to me.....and thank you "Marcello" for having such a great website. :)

Well, if you plan on making it advanced, I'll leave it, otherwise it will get moved. My only concern here is that I don't want people abusing the extra canvas size of the advanced board if they have no intention of making an advanced drawing.
