From A story, a woman of vision is who this is, definatly not finished.Her name is Shrie, From yet another story that I have written, but she is the central character and her story is on my mind alot these days. any suggestions are welcome.

She looks startled.. the right eye is somewhat higher and further from the nose than is the left, or at least it appears so to me.. This is well done. Your colors are striking

I don't think she looks startled so much as power-wielding and hypnotizing with her eyes... like in one of those old horror movies. Love that flaming red hair. |

Huh, before I read the artist I thought this was another Lori abstract. I like this, especially the glittery acid etching on the clover. Very nice soft yet vibrant colors.

thanks everybody, it really means alot to me. there are those people whom don't understand the grief that we know. to them a dog, is a dog, big deal. but for those of us who took the time to care and teach a pup, we know the difference. i still remain shocked as he reached out his paw to me at the last moment, raised his chin into the air, and bade me farewell. he had some of the worst habits a dog can have, but i would give anything for him to be here, and do them again. my god, it hit me like a brick, it was and is so profoundly done, i am in awe of his magnificence and grace, to the last moment, in as much as we intended, he never made it to the vet... again thankyou all so much.....inoun or longway..

I think I liked version one better. I'm biased towards big shading contrasts. The background suits the portrait nicely.
