So the saga begins. This picture is so cool! I love your picture storys. They have interest, meaning and most of all humor. You always do terrific work. But I don't have to tell you. 8 ] "GOD SAVE THE SOCK BUNNY!" LMAO
DMV (Sep 5, 2004)
TY people ...( vote Sock bunny for president)
damnskippytakn-a-break (edited Sep 5, 2004)
Since there is neither less of two evils running for president this November. I will be writing in my vote for Sock bunny. I was looking for someone neutral I could get behind! I will also be voting on Proclamation 8, lol. Sock Bunny for President!!!! RARR!
Aubrey (Sep 8, 2004)
I missed this one. The alien fingers are cool as well as the rest of the picture. I'm so glad SOMEONE is looking for the bunny lol.

It's Roy Batty, from the movie Blade Runner. I had to try out this "photocopying" thing at least once, even though I think it's kinda lame to let a camera do most of the work for you. The task proved itself to be slightly more challenging than I expected. But in the end, I think the piece turned out all right. ^^

just out of curiosity, whats up with his eye?
20ark (Sep 21, 2004)
Oh, you mean the one on the right? It was crappily drawn.
mazi (Sep 21, 2004)
yeah i mean the red stuff over it? its not the drawing its in the reference too (i found it on google). not due to crappy drawing. :)
20ark (Sep 21, 2004)
Oh that! I thought you were referring to the lack of shading in the actual eyeball. The red stuff is blood.

(Please oh please forgive me)

Bad attempts at cuteness and shoujo bubbles, but the intent is the same.

I think that it is cute, the eyes really bring the picture together! Not a bad piece at all!
emmamommalag (Sep 4, 2004)
Awww how cute. You really got that "sad, I didn't mean to do it" puppy look down pat.

Ehh...trying to get the hang of this once more. My nickname amongst friends is Turtle. So here I am, having my dream sword hung up.
Note: The paper and pencil version of this sword is better but meh...hope you like! XD It was fun to draw!

this is subtly gruesome.

artistically violent
Aubrey (Sep 4, 2004)
Ouch.. poor guy.. but ya did draw him well.
davincipoppalag (Sep 4, 2004)
Holy crap zep. You did an amazing job on this one..
Zack (Sep 30, 2004)
I'm always amazed by the amount of variation that you are capable of within so unique a style. You are without a doubt the most underappreciated artist on 2draw. Love the colors on this one.

Oooh, this turned out very nice. I like it a lot. :)
PolythenePam (Sep 4, 2004)
Thanks. I wanna try another one a bit like this...But I want to learn how to do proper realism, y'know? Like, I want to make the skin actually look like skin...I'd love to learn how to do hair too. I'm practising.
Xodiak (Oct 19, 2004)
I like this drawing very much. You look great Pam! I like most the shading and the dark areas of the portrait. Awesome! >:D

Smile, though your heart is aching
Smile, even though it's breaking
When there are clouds in the sky
You'll get by...
If you smile
With your fear and sorrow
Smile and maybe tomorrow
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...
Light up your face with gladness
Hide every trace of sadness
Although a tear may be ever so near
That's the time you must keep on trying
Smile, what's the use of crying
You'll find that life is still worthwhile
If you just...
Smile

another piece to dave.

..how sappy.:P

I like both your pics, Lauren.. looking forward to more. :)
LisaAnne (Aug 24, 2005)
This alone has made you one of my favorite people on 2 draw. I'm still new, and not so skilled, but you're work has depth, and also this poem is super fantastic. My initials are LAW...haha. Anyway, beautiful work. I'm sort of at a loss for words.

Rocks under water.

I spent alot of time experimenting with the water in this one...playing around with it... so the actual production time for what you see is less than duration shown on the clock. This is the first picture for me to post since back from vacation, and while I was gone to the beach I had such a strong urge to draw that I drove into town and bought a sketch pad and pencils (I forgot my pastels) and sketched the buildings, ships, jetties, and all that I could see from the deck of the beach house. I had kind of forgotten how much fun it was just to really draw on paper.

Way Cool! When I first saw the thumbnail, my eyes saw it as if I was inside a cave looking out. Anywho, BRAVO. = )
PolythenePam (Aug 31, 2004)
I'm happy with this...I'm gonna submit it finished now.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Aug 31, 2004)
This does look like a shelter from a storm... I was once coming back in from hunting in my boat and got caught in a really bad storm, so I pulled it under a cliff where there's a really large overhanging rock over a receding spot on the bank (almost like a cave) and this is what your picture reminded me of. Really cool effect of depth.
Tuukke (Sep 1, 2004)
nice!!! i liked v.4 also.. the green hills ^^ great.
