I redid the previous leaf pattern---hope this is okay,although it still needs more work.

I like the spring color and yes, it needs more definition. Darken up the edges and shadowed areas and maybe a more contrasting background color would help.

lol, no tomato this time, it will be a hole or something like it, but now that you mentioned tomato, it does look like he just ate his way out of one :) I just realized that this will be my 100th drawing here :)

It looks like a gold ball to me and it reminds me of that frog prince story. Maybe a pond for the background? By the way, poppasweetie.. at first glance, I didn't realize you'd said 'up.' lol
