Shiek
(Jul 14, 2004)
This canvas was originally meant for a drawing called "Puppy-Dog Eyes", depicting two gouged-out doggie eyeballs laying in a puddle of eye-goo(HAHA GET IT?)... But I soon found out eyeballs are hard to draw, especially sitting in goo. So, I opted to try my hand at perspective and vanishing lines. It resulted in a somewhat casual scene, pulling a good book up in front of a roaring fire in the lounging room of your summer cabin, with the trophies of victorious hunts(which you probably just bought at a pawn shop for eight bucks) hanging on the display wall.
emmamommalag (Jul 14, 2004)
I'm glad you had trouble with those eyes! lol This is much nicer.
davincipoppalag (Jul 15, 2004)
This is warm and cozy. The book perspective is a little off-putting compared to the room. It seems an odd angle for a closed book standing upright someplace. If the book is being held up by an unseen reader, it should be open and then its perspective would fit. Not bad |

I like the Romancing SaGa series and SaGa Frontier (first one, didn't care for the 2nd one), the characters are nicely drawn and lovely. I am so surprised at how underrated the series is. You think with non-linear games, people would like more....Funny how things go...
emmamommalag (Jul 14, 2004)
This is very pretty. Nice colors and I like the flowers. :)
mx (edited Jul 14, 2004)
I like the cool loose style and the freedom of the usage of colorsGo well mx:) ? |

Just samplin' the tools
Gigge (Jul 13, 2004)
It almost looks to me as if the outer lines are moving around the circle. Maybe it's just 'cause I haven't had my coffee yet. I like this though. Would make a great pattern on a scarf.
emmamommalag (Jul 13, 2004)
Go get your coffee, Gigge... on my second cup and don't see anything moving. lol I like this, Piglet. Nice contrasts and colors, etc. I love the title! lol
PigletVanGogh (Jul 14, 2004)
