Yikes! I can tell this one's going to take lots of time....
I have no idea who these people are...but I do know they're from around the time of the civil war in the 1860's.
It's kind of funny how people posed for a photo back then....LOL

This is from the kitchen again. I noticed this little bud bathing in the sunlight so I took a pic. It's actual size is a little smaller than the average fingernail.

I'd probobly be able to tell from the flower! it could be an orchid or something, but im guessing its more exotic or else you would have known.

On another note....you've got a GREAT view of the big sky according to your photo...I sure do miss seeing the big open sky like that...

I'm a slow worker. ;P Hooray, finished! Definitely not a complete likeness to the ref, but I'm kinda happy for my first try at realism on a paint program.

Oh you should keep working on this one!! It's really coming along great! I think you just need some darker darks, like under her chin and neck/in the hair, etc.....it's beautiful!

I just did some scatter all over and then it took some form, so i went with the direction it took and ended up here. I don't find it very exciting, but you know me and my art! heh...Thanks, elly, I'm sure you'll create something great. :)

I can still remember a dream I had about Superman when I was no more than about 12 yrs old. He saved me as I dangled from the telephone lines! That would be from when the wires were over our heads instead of cabled under ground :/...I love this colorful draw t!!

I'm glad you're pushing yourself to try new things! This really looks a lot better with a background than without one; it makes the foreground stand out a lot more, too, because of the dark colors.
