yes very pretty colors. Nice job on the flower center too. Maybe needs a little more dimension to the stem but the whole thing really pops out nicely against the dark bkgrd! Welcome (back) to 2d!

book illustration

Just clearing this one out of the studio too. The book I drew it for has been published and I was happy with the way it was used inside. The 'photoshopper' cropped different portions of the drawing to use as headers on each chapter page and at the end of the book was the whole drawing itself. Turned out nice and glad I have a copy!!

Thought I'd go ahead and post but still have some details to work out....

Didn't do much more to this by way of small details, but I'm clearing out my studio because I'm tired of seeing this in there! Now I'm seeing these clear platform shoes all over the place! Haven't seen one containing spiders and bugs yet tho....ref pic used.

I saw on ebay where someone is selling keychains made out of clear acrylic.....and there is a real insect encased in the acrylic.....there were spiders and scorpions, beetles, etc.

Ya I've seen those too, firecracker! They've gotten pretty popular! Also the kind that have a lazer drawn image inside...I have several that were gifts from various people. It all started with a key chain I bought that had a lazer drawing of Christ on the cross.

Brass casting

Here's a quick ball point pen sketch of an idea I have. I'm going to build a backyard foundry and cast brass pieces for my bike. This is a birds eye view of the piece I want to try. It's a rear fender tip with fender strut mounts on each side. I don't think I'll have to worry too much about the integrity of the brass being used to support the rear fender because it's bobbed and short, not too heavy and the bike is a solo seat bike so no one will be sitting on it. Only thing is, do you guys think...
