Ugh, I spent too much time trying to understand this drawing app and didn't like results.Decided to post for future reference.

Thanks.. my Christmas was good.. take a look through the showcase to see the really good stuff that was here.. we had some really good artists here ..the place shut off when Java came out as not good...but then marcello found a work around so you could use the applets again..and added some new ones here..little by little some are returning and folks likeyou discover us..so really encourage your friends to come try out the site@!

I recruited a good artist who just told me he joined! Can't wait to see what he comes out with! My Christmas was very nice as well! Yes check the showcase! Some of those drawings will blow your mind!

Yes, the showcase is where I saw your fish, Elly. I didn't realize there were 25 pages. I'm impressed by some of the portrait artists, the time spent, and the beautiful results. I can't do people very well; you can't be off on features very much because the face is distorted then, yet I try. lol

Sometimes the quick draws are as good or even better than some we work ours on, like this one!! I love the added hatch marks in the background and all the textures. Nice piece my friend!

Same as Dave!! Maybe you know me and crystals(?) but incase you don't, we go way back in the drawing world.....anywho, version 2 is just breathtaking to me!! The clear and defined highlights and light reflections with those beautiful lavender, violets and purples give me goosebumps!! Just fabulous!

Elly, sorry how life tends to rip our core at times. I did see your earlier post about two losses.Sorry to hear, that has to be rough. I saw your gallery and you have FABULOUS draws and you continue with more great art. At times, I do forget how to achieve a look with certain tools after I've been absent drawing. Basically, this is a Winter hobby for me, because Winter sucks! I think you'll have fun drawing again with your new tools. ツ

So YES I got my new tablet (again) and this one seems to be working although I'll have to figure out the pen pressure. You can see, especially in my signature, that the pressure changes on it's own. course I just now downloaded the driver and came straight here...lol

I"m trying the XP-PEN 'Fun' version. It's twice as big as what I'm used to so I look forward to having my desk back (it's in storage) Right now I'm set up on a piano..lol It works! |
