Once in a while I need to remind myself that I live in a great country.Does anyone else feel this way?
davincipoppalag (Nov 25, 2004)
How else would they spend all that money we give them Fin... but..they DID make a hell of a golf cart!
emmamommalag (Nov 25, 2004)
I never need to be reminded... I thank God every day. But this is a very nice idea and you did a great job on it. :)
bumpinthenight (Nov 26, 2004)
how this took 50 minutes completely excapes me.... next time, try to draw the flag flapping in the wind in stead of just standing there... not very realistic... too heavy a use of the line tool.. :P
dugout (Nov 26, 2004)
It actually didn't take that long to do----I had a nap somewhere in the middle of it.You're right about the unreal look.I just haven't figured out how to do that yet---but I will! |

I'm still trying to do a decent portrait-----I really need help with this one! I can't get a smooth outline, and the applets went on strike.
davincipoppalag (Nov 23, 2004)
Click the anitialias button by the brushes and lower the flow..(bottom slider) when they stop working while you are drawing..often if you hit refresh..the page will come back and ask "do you want to restore the image"..click yes..and you should be back in business..
dugout (Nov 24, 2004)
Thanks, all. I'll give it another try.
Dagan (Nov 25, 2004)

Knockoff (Nov 23, 2004)

Life Through a Wineglass It was not yet winter when I met the man himself, but the chilling breeze already bit to the bone. At least, that is what others said. I for one was never bothered by fierce cold. It was in a small diner in which I first encountered him. Curiously, it was he, not I, who was seeking the other. This is a daily(or nightly)sight here. I haven't figured out how to draw the water yet,and would welcome any advice!
shadowcrumb (Nov 20, 2004)
Where is "here", Alaska? Anyway I am still new at all of this, but I just played around with different blues, blended them together, added a little white and then sharpened on the "reflections" on top of the water. I hope that helps a little :)
davincipoppalag (Nov 20, 2004)
Yea..that's a good way to start. I think everyone does it a bit differently, but you have to play around to see which way works best for you.
StrawberryYamichan (Nov 20, 2004)
