I had plans for a rather more elaborate and interesting joke, but they unfortunately fell through. (How much planning should one put into a silly thing like this anyway...?) One thing is for sure...

Maybe download the lates edtion of Java from www.java.com? Glad you came back. Your dad is doing some great stuff! Get your brother out from under that VW and make him draw!

Thanks for the suggestion, davinci. I downloaded the latest version of java but it still didn't help. I understand the problem might have something to do with some sort of limitation that Lascaux has with the IE browser. I have no intention of changing my preferred browser just to accommodate an online drawing so I guess I will just have to live with it.

So glad you came back to draw! I love the colors you used here... keep messing around with the applet and soon it'll be just like painting or drawing in real medium... you'll get used to it. :) (I recommend sticking with the Lascaux)

I know the face is crooked ...I wanted it that way... I was thinking about drawing a man who was in a car accident
and basically broke most of his bones on his face. of course the only job he could get was being a clown:)

I was looking at this before ,very nice over all. I don't understand something here ...ok the perspective of the walk way.
even though he is a small boy ,The walk way should be going straight out more. not going up, I hope, I am making sense.
I guess what i am saying is there should be more sky to see...unless you meant to have it like that:) who cares about the shoulder blades lol!

That is awesome - it looks just like here, except the birds are ussually lighter colored seagulls and stuff, and the water is more of a blue than an aqua... Anywho, personally, I like it, but a bit of a contrast between the waves and the sky might look a bit better.

The idea for this was inspired by a cool pic in the cd booklet for Audioslave... I kinda made the map up, that stuff is here, but I put stuff where I felt like putting it. :)

Crazy me..when I first read the description I thought it was an alien running. Now look what I'm saying before I look like a total nut. haha It looks like someone is running with a candle in hand his elbow is where the thumbnail is and hes running with some kind of pouch. Oh wake up Pandora , look again. haha I see it now. Either way it's fantastic DBA.

When I discovered 2d way back when (early 2000's), this is one of the first drawings I saw here that TOTALLY BLEW MY MIND @___@ I could not wrap the idea of this being an actual 'drawing' around my head. I was just SURE it was a photo!!! I have to say that since then, I believe I have photorealism wrapped around my head just fine now :) Thank you, Xodiak, for the amazing inspiration!!
