Great shine effect on the cups glaze. I also like how you've done the wood of your desk. Drawing wood is an odd favourite of mine, can't really explain why.

you know, all the pictures on this beginner board should be on intermediate!This picture is great, i guess most people would say to keep it on the beginner, but its art! art dosent have to be super-detailed or realistic to be great! i love it. keep it up.

Trying to draw from a photo ref for the first time. :3 link to pictureJohn Barrowman is a British actor who plays Jack Harkness in Doctor Who and Torchwood. He's one of my favorite actors, and I hope I can do this well enough that it looks vaguely like him. `^^

So far it looks like a goodlooking man with great hair and patiently waiting for a face. It looks intruiging, now I must go and check out who this John Barrowman is. Thank you for all your kind comments. ^^
This is turning out to be harder than I expected, especially considering I can't select a color I used before (it doesn't acknowledge when I right click. :/) So, I'll keep trying! ^^

Just a quick concept sketch to test the capabilities of the software. This is the first time I've tried this site and I find the whole concept fascinating. There is a looming statue carved from the hillside behind the temple proper.
