experimenting again...

Hope this is still intermediate quality.

The Phalanx hit the Persian Infantry line, but instead of the usual thunder clap of steel hitting steel, there was a harsh, drawn out snapping sound. The line was hit with such force that the Persian's wicker shields, useful in entangling an attacker's spear, burst apart and disintergrated under the press of Greek bronze. Persian archers desperately shot point blank into the advancing hoplites, but could not penetrate their heavy armor. The Greek Phalanx was unstoppable.

Nobody: "Klibese: draw a small child on a playground dreaming of an imaginary world. incorporate his passion for dinosaurs."

So I had this great idea. I told myself, "Self! Wouldn't it be neat if this was allllll done with the pencil tool?No silly applet tools? That would make for a great simplistic effect, right, self? Self? Self? Why are you grimacing, self?"

So I told myself to shut up and did what I said to myself anyways. I'm not happy with how it turned out. I really should do better even if only with the pencil brush.

This is what we do in Scotland.

I did davinci's request.. "frootcake...I request you draw a scotsman facing a plate of cold leftover haggis after four nights of drinking whiskey with friends..........."

One of those drawings that is started with nothing in mind and just evolves.
