Ooooow, my hand. I was going to submit this on the advanced board but I thought better of it.

I'm actually a traditional media artist turned digital. Good old .05 lead mechanical pencils and some nice paper are the tools of my trade. Sometimes coloured pencils, so the transition from that to.. a tablet is kind of difficult. :\ Anyway, I tried, so here's another one from me.

whoa my whole view page moved cause of the long user comment up top haha! I really like this-delicate it the perfect word davinci. Very very nice-I'd love to see more.
HunterKiller_ (Jun 4, 2007)
Right Dave, 'delicate' is the perfect word for this. Good work.

Beautiful, love the pencil like look of this. I feel I just peeked into your sketch book.
And the blue is a unique choise to use. I love the detail in the patterns of the fabric,
on her face, and the hair combs.

This is magnificent though personally I find this types of drawings slightly boring, but anyway it's good.

A lot sloppy for my normal work, but y'know, I like it. First time using Lascaux, and I HATE IT. It might just be my tablet, but I keep spitting out random globs of colour when I draw... I'm a huge tablet-pressure sensitivity user, so like, the lack of control I have over what comes out on the screen is aggravating. Otherwise, just playing around with the applet... it seems a little bland in the skin-shading department, but I was trying for a starker colour scheme. Blarg. I still have like, no inspiration to draw other than just because I want to. Boooorn of frustraaaaation.

You know there are pressure sensitivity controls in lascaux? For both opacity and brush thickness. You have to download the little programme first though, I think it's under the config page.

wait, I found it: http://sketchstudio.cellosoft.com/

I'm way too distracted to draw. >_< Could a mod please move this to the beginner board? :\ I've had such a huge artblock recently and have been trying to get out of it... apparently this poo is all I could come up with, rofl, even under the influence of Imogen Heap and some Dredg. Anyway, yeah, this is me (kinda, I don't look that asian, but I am hispanic...) - I've been feeling rather blue. It'll all work out. ^^;; Don't mind me. Anyway, could someone please move this? I don't really feel it's good enough to be on this board.

Oh. Shi Painter is having some weirdness going on with the zoom - there's just random lines everywhere when you scroll through different zoom sizes and whatnot -a lso when you drag a menu across the drawing area. Is there anyway to fix this? I'm really, really not Lascaux inclined at all. :\
enjoydotcom (Jun 1, 2007)
Sweet, love the teal. Random lines will appear all the time, if you check out the forum you'll find a recent post about it. I prefer Lascaux over Shi, one of the reasons are those annoying lines.

Clover, considering all the spam pictures that have been popping up trust me, this belongs here.
I was in a major funk a few months ago and it took all my effort to pick up my pen, but fortunately
it went away and I found my muse again. Don't worry, thankfully these things pass.
Enjoy is right, that teal is wonderful and hard to pull off. Hope you come back to this or try again some day.

Don't worry, self portraits can be hard and I don't know what you look like (that would be seriously creepy) but you did a good job. and artblocks suck, I hope you get out of it soon.

Unreferenced drawing of the character Door, from Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, but when she's older, I guess. Sorry if this doesn't fit here, I'm very new. ^_^ Hello to everyone.

you can't fool me-that's not a door O_o lol sorry. This is nicely done-welcome.
Sweetcell (May 28, 2007)
Nice first draw, great way to start off here on 2draw. With all the spamming we get it's a treat when talent comes along to make up for it. Only thing, her ear is a little too far from her face but it's a niggle.

Welcome aboard Clover.
