I won't comment on your skill, because the issue was more or less about your style preference, anime, while your critics favor realism. It's not really fair though to critique a picture about not looking realistic when it wasn't meant to look that way.

try to make the ends of the lashes much thinner... Also, if you make the lashes less dense in their numbers, they will be much more dramatic... :)Oh I'm so sorry I didn't see your comment, bumpinthenight, I really could have used that advice! But I guess..now I claimed it as finished....hahah i'm so sick of working on it. It was quite tedious. But that you for the advice...I'll definitely keep it in mind.

I wish being in the woods was heaven 'round here dba... ya get ticks all over ya 'round here... This is cool, I like this contrast too, and there is a very successful artist that does this, only uses dark colored houses behind the trees, actually cuts it all out of some kind of thick paper and puts it all together, 'stead of using paint... coolness

very interesting.... As amuy said, there's a great contrast made between the color of the trees and the background.... Also, I love the difference in texture that there is between the two.... The foreground smooth, the background rough and uneven.... |
