nah nah, we dont hate but you cant expect to get many comments on the icon bored seeing as its usually used for personal and/or acute art. people just dont make a big deal out of it and you already know how much i like your art ^_^

Her eyes look like something's weighing on her mind. I'm sure if you took a break from it and then opened it back up it wouldn't irritate you so much. Pictures tend to do that after you've been working on them so long.

I hate to say it, but the eyes really bug me... they are completely unrealistic.... I dunno... they should be more rounded than rectangular... Other than that (I'm looking at the bottom half of the face right now) the picture is down right spiffy! other than the eyes and the background, this is a grade A piece... :)

Just wondering about the ratings of newcomer, apprentice, artist, master, etc.... I cant find a place here that tells how many points you have to have to ascend to the next level of awareness, so to speak ;) If anyone can quench my curiosity, I'd be really happy... As in reeeeeeeeeally happy.... XD

bump - it's not the quantity of time spent on the drawing, it's the quality. ;)

I'd say, experiment with more tools. Do get solid, professional lines, try the pen tool and raise the grey slide bar to max (255). Even if you dont want to use lineart, dramatic shadows and highlights help make a picture give off a greater impact.
