took reference (i.e. position or the face and hair.) from a picture that i have which is amazing (if i new the artist i would tell you, but i don't sooo sorry!!!) and well the boobies and top are what i added (or well i hade room, so i put them in there :P). so yeah thats it. (please don't kill me for not being totaly original!!!) |

I'm not sure if I'm finished or unfinished! Still, what do you think of it? I'm not amazing yet, but it was my first time using layers.

There's certainly room for improvement. Are you using the paintbucket tool? If you are, I'd suggest not using it and putting some effort into coloring. Use the brush tool instead; it takes more time but gives better results. Tip for the layers: try putting the lineart on top, and use a layer below it (you'll have to add it yourself if you're using the Lascaux program) to color. People have different ways of using layers, but that's just what I do. Experiment more, and eventually you'll get the hang of it.

oranges are overrated. have an apple instead.eurgh. i'm sick of this drawing. >.< it lies by the way, about how long it too. that was all me sitting there trying to think of something to draw. this took about 20-30 minutes i guess...>.>

heehee. I do the same thing; I can never think of something good to draw. The pic looks good so far. I like the hat; it reminds me of the movie "A Clockwork Orange." bleh. still not finished.
