My hommage to Resident Evil 4. I'm pretty much done with the body, other than a few touchups, but I've still got to do the background. How am I doing?

Ref

Yay, I'm finished! I think this is as far as I can go. I love this pic.

This whispers loudly with depth of field and solid form.

Before playing the game I thought Mendez would be a character seen often...unfortunately not for a cool boss as him. Though he went out in such a graphically awesome battle sequence.
Lovely job on the image. Especially his parasite limbs.

Same here, Crimson. RE4 is certainly one of the best-looking games I've ever played, and amazingly one of the most fun as well. Have you gotten the Handcannon yet? I think it lives up to its name pretty well. You did a good job of catching the heat and action in this picture, Bjork.
bjorkChild (Feb 16, 2006)
Thanks you guys! I really did this for my little brother; Mendez is like his bad-boss idol. I love this game, though. And Mendez's time in the game was short, but sweet. This was a bad-ass fight.

I don't know why, but I love "Avatar: The Last Airbender". Don't ask me. I usually don't enjoy American Anime, but for some reason, Aang grew on me... *shrugs* Anyways, just doodling....

his hair looks too much like a triangle.
kristine (Dec 16, 2005)
maybe the background can be the couch hes sitting on. and some people in the background all like "calm your ass down"
Shoebox (Dec 16, 2005)
or a greenish glow getting darker towards the center, if you're feeling lazy XD

well, i love my 2d. And, in the interest of space, I decided to let the cigarette go a little askew. It looks kinda that way in the original pic.
Nyuusen (Dec 15, 2005)
Heh, you're right it does. Whoops.

man, i am just picture crazy lately! I have been drawing like mad! Simply getting used to the hoops around here.

Just wanted to pay tribute to the great David Firth, and his creation, Salad Fingers. Very creepy. Go check him out.

So if I went and complimented something of someone's, then they aren't allowed to critisize me even if what I draw is crap?
...good to know...
R. (Dec 12, 2005)
Evocative blend of colours. Do you happen to have Jackson Pollock's phone number? He really needs to sharpen up his linework. (And if I said you had an intermediate body, would you hold it against me?)
bjorkChild (Dec 12, 2005)
in reply to xiau, no, that's not what I am saying. What i am saying is please be constructive, and not just say that what I drew isn't "good enough quality". I would like to know WHY they don't think it is. Just saying that it's crap isn't helpful to anyone.

"The main intermediate board intended for users who have mastered the basic skills of drawing and are somewhat familiar with the drawing applets."
The reason I think this isn't intermediate is because of the constant use of burn, dodge, and blur tools. They shouldn't be used too much since the drawings tend to come out...well, beginner looking. Of course some drawing consisting of a lot of those tools might look decent but sorry to say yours does not. It looked like you had something at the beginning but you kind of ruined it by scribbling colors and the dodge tool all over it.

A short little doodle. I began swirling the mouse around and I suddenly saw and face and went off it. *shrugs*

This is inspired by the song "Aeroplane over the Sea" by Neutral Milk Hotel. The certain phrase that inspired it was "And one day we will die/and our ashes will fly from the Aeroplane over the sea". It's a very pretty song. It's simple, and not very good, but the message behind it is powerful. Hope you liked ^^'

Lol, are you from England? hehe i like the way the spell "aeroplane". This is a great picture! The aeroplane looks a lot like one of those tripods from War of the Worlds.

This is a pretty cool picture, if I don't say so myself. ;D

Welcome to 2Draw! Hope you have fun here. It looks like you are already quite skilled at drawing. I can tell by your awesome picture. :)
And it also looks like you are quite competent with the ability to revise and the different tools. However, one thing I would like to point out is that you should try Oekaki Shi-Painter and Lascaux, the latter being the more "advanced" of the two. PaintBBS is good, but it isn't as powerful or versatile as the others. Hope to see you around!
bjorkChild (Oct 22, 2004)
Thank you! Yes, this was my first ever drawing, and I'm surprised how it turned out. The purple thingies are sorta like galaxies, or strings of stars..I got the idea from the best game ever- Phantasy Star 4- for the galaxies. If you look while you're on the space station Kuran, you'll see them. They are very beautiful, but much more detailed than what i have. But i couldn't remember what they looked like ^^
HunterKiller_ (Oct 22, 2004)
Very nice! I like it. It reminds me of some super nintendo RPG cut scene from Chronotrigger or something like of the likes. =D
