It's just so much easier and lots of more fun to draw without any reference, except for my mind. :)

I agree.....I think this is very good....looks very "painted". I think this Indian looks more male than female, and I think he is getting ready to "light up" his peacepipe.....:lol:!! Nice one! :)

"Take a walk on the wild side"......"lol"!! I'm finally posting this as "finished".....I'm too tired of working on it. I'm still not satisfied with his hand.....but no matter what I do....I can't get it looking the way I want it. I tried making him look "scarier" than my earlier versions of this "pic"......but he's still not scary enough. I'm frustrated with this "wolfman"....so I'm leaving him as he is....."lol"!! :)

I'm just curious as to what kind thought process goes into one of these pictures like this....cause i know when i am drawing my frame of mind at the time definitely helps determine how my picture will come out...so i was just wondering...it looks really good though...:)

I tried to fix the splotchiness in the bg but I just made it worse.. can't see it while I'm using the applet .. but anyway, I've gotta get this out of my studio.
