Kloxboy's put the clay on hold. He's now doing wood carvings. =D
Newt (Feb 14, 2007)
Wow this does look like a wood carving.
Really nice earth tones.
davincipoppalag (Feb 14, 2007)
You got so much creativity in just you..we don't need anyone else.
Alter.Native (Feb 15, 2007)
I really like the feel of this, and I don't need to say why.

Colors = great. te colors really set the tone and mood for me more than the abstract/surreal elements. Def my favorite work from you thus far.

I like this. Makes me wonder if they planted the trees when they got there or chose that spot because the trees were there.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 7, 2007)
lol... wrecked angles. That sounds like something my Daddy would say. That place is just begging for a tornado. :)
friend (Feb 7, 2007)
So clever, what goes through your mind Axil?
Sweetcell (Feb 7, 2007)
This is what I would see if I drove out to the country, flat, flat, flat land, some trees here and there and a lone farm. The only thing that's missing is a transmitter. :)

Very interesting piece, I like it :)
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Feb 6, 2007)
I totally love the way this hit me when I viewed it... first I sort of focused on the doorway/person and the lightest bubbles (great focal point, by the way), and then as I was being drawn into the picture by the light trail of bubbles, the plant, etc...the table and chair sort of "formed" out of focus in the corner. The colors, the composition, everything about it works very well...., it's COOL!
davincipoppalag (Feb 6, 2007)
This is refreshingly different! Great stuff
Zer0 (Feb 7, 2007)

Nice picture. Interesting technique you've use here. Can I suggest that you could increase the depth greatly by darkening the spires further back.
davincipoppalag (Jan 30, 2007)
I like it too..sorta like a place where Dr. Seuss characters might live
Alter.Native (Jan 31, 2007)
Yes! Siriustar is a favorite. Hey, since our band collaboration didn't work out ;P, maybe we should try an all Californian artsy collab here..when we both feel comfortable with them toolz. How 'bout that? :)

I definitely know you, but making sure:: Have you tried playing any of those FF acoustic versions yet :) ? Good proportions on that face..Looks like he's caught in a net.
nobody (Jan 29, 2007)
i thought the same thing when i looked at the thumbnail, sweetcell.
Zer0 (Jan 30, 2007)
Hi. Yes I do visit youdraw from time to time. I'm flattered that my work could be momentarily mistaken for Crimson Kings, though I'm quite sure I havent mastered these tools to the extent that he has. No A.N - I all but gave up my musical aspirations when you declined my offer to form a band. ;P

Totally, when I first saw them on MTV I thought Craig Kilborn had started a band, hehehe.
Aubrey (May 20, 2004)
I have no idea who anyone is talking about but the picture is great! Doesn't quite look like Craig Kilborn but he has a handsome face for sure!
Kasha (May 20, 2004)
alright I'm ending the guessing game. lol, It's Josh Hommes from well, a lot of bands. Most ppl will know him by Queens of the Stoneage....I know him by Kyuss.

I went to see them a few years back when they came with Trail of Dead in Houston. I loved it! I wanted to see Dave but he didn't show up. Nick is a good bass player and singer, too bad he left Mark! he's great. I love his voice so much. Didn't he sing Hanging Tree? Lovely.

He DOES resemble Craig Kilborn! heh, I thought I was the only one that thought that. Umm and yes.. he does look like a few actors. hehe, thanks guys, you rock.
Knockoff (May 21, 2004)
Ahh! This is amazingly cool kasha! The sektchy-ness of it makes it look a bit more real.
I love the black and white feel, aswell!

Kloxboy (May 19, 2004)
