see the little faded "edit" to the right of your name on the comment? HIt that.. if too much time hasnt passed you can remove the comment.. after awhile they stay

Draw your subject on a transparent layer, no white background. Then add another layer under it to draw your background. I hope this helps. I'm not the best at explaining. I like the tiny clouds(:

You could add shading, and if you want neat writing there's a text tool. Other than that I like the background.
