For a mouse, that's pretty damn good. I like your line weights, and the eyes are marvelous. Litterally, to be marveled at. I also like your use of shade on the face, and the expression.

Neither have I. I almost couldn't understand it.And, no, Spanish is not considered a 'romance' language. That's French and Italian. The reason that they are closely related is that they're both mainly based off of Latin, dead language.

Music seems to be a prevalent element in my art. Hm.Well, you cought Marrow dancing. He likes to put on his headphones and dance like a fool when he's alone, but he's too shy and insecure to do so in front of anyone else. Well, what's the point of feedback if you don't get anything from it? Personally, Even ONE precise comment ("Like your coloring" or whatever) is infinitly more satisfying than 1000 "Tha's nice" comments. I know it's nice. I wanna know why. As for my style... How much more vague can you get? Might as well say "I like the cut of your jib."

Ok, you want a critique? Here we go..The character design is weak, it is sloppy and unpolished. If you really want to define the character do a few detail sketches of body parts, such as the face. Your "style" needs to be defined more.. I mean is your character floating in space or standing? Space is very important in placing the whole scene. What IS good about it though is that you have a form and an idea, and I'm sure in your mind it is alot clearer. Just keep practicing man, practice makes perfect. Don't let the shit that I say get to you. Take it as constructive criticism I don't mean to judge it too much, and art is art, if you mean it to be a sketch then forget what I say. Keep practicing on human form, like how a person stands and the movement of legs and arms. I know my stuff isnt perfect and need to work on it alot more.. ok, i'll stop now.

Good idea, but the lineart is a tad bit messy.... if you cleaned it up a tad bit and added more shadows and color to the picture, and a better background it would be awesome. |

Sitting in a dark corner. Whee.She's actaully a white mouse in a dark environment. I like how the cig. smoke came out, but I'm less happy with this pic than with my previous one. Probably due to a lack of a defined light souce. Gah, I can't draw boobs... [EDIT]Cleaned up the shading a bit, and added feet. Well, shoes. I suck at feet as much as I suck at boobs. I think I'm cursed with putting Practice drawings in the Regular forum and putting Regular drawings in the Practice forum...

Ok, it's one in the morning. I'll just read a few webstrips. Ok, one archive. It only goes back to '98. And it's a good strip.And yeah, it's two in the morning, but theres two more strips on the links page. Might as well check em out. Even though it's three in the morning, I could read the archives of that last comic, no big deal right? Just a few more... strips... four in the morning... Caffine, my ol' pal, once more into the breach, dear friend, once more into the fray... I'm addicted to internet comics. I've got over fourty book'ed that I check regularily. Oh, and I really like how the monitor glow came out on the opposite wall. Will probably fix the lighting on Marrow later. [EDIT]Cleaned up the legs, and took out a lot of thoseannoying white flecks. Missed a few, but it looks much better now. And, I *really* like the monitor glow.

The shading effect is damn cool. Spiffy monitor glow. The one thing I notice is that the way the ears are pointing kinda makes it look like there's a blast of wind coming from the monitor and they're being blown back. I tend to have that problem with webcomics too... whenever I discover a new comic, I have to go back and read all the archives. Explains why I'm not usually in bed until at least 2 AM every night. Eh heh.
