TriggerHappy (Aug 4, 2004)
ty to all of those who commented. but not that anyone will really care, I am not doing another 2draw again. This place is way too cliquish for me. No one comments unless you're part of this "inner circle" or some bull shit, and frankly I'm through putting up drawings and not getting a lot of feed back. That is why I joined, I thought I'd get feedback, but I guess I was wrong. That and some of the things you guys say to each other or say to get attention is pathetic. So, goodbye and thank you again to all of those who commented on my pictures.

Well, I care if you leave. I like your work, and I think I commented on all of em.. I wish you would reconsider.
damnskippytakn-a-break (edited Aug 30, 2004)
Trigger, I'm sorry I think I've seen one other picture done by you. I believe I commented then, and I don't belong to a clique. I am sorry you feel that you're not getting back what you feel you need to affirm your talent! You are amazing and I wish I had 1/10th the talent you have. I agree, it is important to get feedback. I think I would be dismayed if I wasn't getting what I felt was satisfaction. Please reconsider and don't give up! I can't think of any other place I'd rather be! Your work is loved and I'll be your friend and we can form a clique if you'd like! ' } Most importantly, I think this viper is wonderful and it creeps me out, which all snakes do! = )
Gigge (Sep 5, 2004)
Oy, now I'm gonna have to track you down, fooo.

Well, it was supposed to be part of the robot theme, but it turned out to look more like armor then anything lol Ah well. Just something weird while I wait for the vets to be done with my dog. And kids, this is what happens when you mix drugs. Never do it

I saw this earlyer this morning and forgot to come back an comment, I always like frog drawings :) I have a photo bookmarked for one day when I feel like I can draw it.
Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
Yay, a frog. I love frogs. Well, I like toads more because they're not slimy. But, this froggy is adorable. Great vibrancy in this pic.
Ty854 (Aug 7, 2004)
*Surprised* Awesome, Trigger.
damnskippytakn-a-break (Aug 30, 2004)
I'm so ashamed as well I'm certain that all the above are. You do have talent and believe me sometimes viewing the pictures is a daily thing. I know that it takes at least an hour to review the latest pics from everyone! Sometimes I don't comment because I lack the words to say what doesn't sound phony! This frog is rellay great, and I mean that! ' }

Aww it looks so sad or apprehensive. Great pic, TriggerHappy. You moving?
LEELEE (Aug 3, 2004)
This is wonderful, fantastic job.
Gigge (Aug 7, 2004)
Aww, he looks so timid. Maybe he's scared of the dark? Very nice job.
damnskippytakn-a-break (Aug 30, 2004)
What a wonderful face! I love his expression. Perhaps he's been wounded?

pic of an old man :) inspiration from roy mullins, and from an old man on a boat

I'm toying with the idea of a long white beard...good or bad?

I like the lighting. Looks as if he's sitting infront of a dying fire.
davincipoppalag (Aug 3, 2004)
I don't think I would add the beard. It would take away from the glow you made. Hey,, if you can draw THIS you can do "Elvis on Velvet"!
TriggerHappy (Aug 3, 2004)
Elvis on Velvet? what the heck is that? hehe
damnskippytakn-a-break (edited Aug 30, 2004)
WOW you really have the smoke down. I also love the facial glow. Very nice. Velvet paintings were very popular in the 50's and 60's and the most common are, Elvis and The Last Supper. This does resemble a velvet painting.

Alright, you guys inspired me :) just took the purple, did random lines, and this is what I saw. Also helped me learn about blending. Obviously, I still have a ways to go.

I do! I do! It's a wonderful picture. I see a baby loon hitching a ride. Good job on the reflection in the water.
davincipoppalag (Aug 1, 2004)
Don't stop! There's so much to see in Alaska, and so many pictures left to draw! This is good!
Gigge (Aug 2, 2004)
Very pretty. The reflection in the water is very nice.

How'd you get the duck and her baby to sit still for this one? Very nice.

It's said that every living creature has a human inside of them. Alaskan native art depicts the human transforming out of the animal. The orca was the Alaskan native's grim reaper. Whenever they would come near the village, a villager would die, and the orca's would take their spirit with them. I'm thinking of having this tattooed on my back :)

this is pretty cool, it would make a good tattoo definitely
mooseflower (Jul 31, 2004)
Awesome! I love this style, it reminds me of the posters I have from when I lived in Seattle :)
emmamommalag (Jul 31, 2004)
Ahh, this is very nice and that's some interesting information on the old beliefs.

Former Stabbing Westward lead singer Chris Hall, now lead singer of The Dreaming. You want to hear some heartfelt lyrics, you should listen to them

I think it needs some more refining. I like the smoke cloud in the bg and the lighting. The eyes and hair need more definition , and the jacket could use more blending and highlights. It's not bad..
emmamommalag (Jul 17, 2004)
Yes, it definitely has potential. I like the satiny sheen to the jacket and I agree with poppa about what it needs..

Saw this lying around and decided to finish it :) btw, the eyes are supposed to be dark and undefined...

He looks like he is very dark. I think his music must also convey his darkness? Good job.

Inspired from a t-shirt I saw on a girl today. Figured I'd try it out. Pic reference was used :) I'm officially seeing dots now!

that was part of the reason I chose this photo though, was because it didn't really look like a typical orlando bloom picture. Looked more just like some guy, and that's what drew me to it.

extreme youdraw flashback! :D
davincipoppalag (Jul 29, 2004)
Yea two, this would be right at home on YouDraw

I don't know anything about YouDraw, but I do know excellence. I admire you. This had to take forever to do. I bet your hand hurted! lol
