DeadlyBlondeArcher (Dec 30, 2004)
I don't usually comment on this type of art, but you did it so exceptionally well that I have to say something. The hair is beautiful... the way it shines, and I really love the way you did the fingernails. It's just pretty, pretty, pretty.
DivineStar (Jan 2, 2005)
Thanks a lot, everyone! ^___^ I'm glad this picture pleases some... ;3

Because everyone has to do an eye pic sooner or later.

Inspired by Tresspasses.

yay, I inspired someone. You drew a much more realistic looking eye than I did though.

it looks okay!I have the same eye brows well kind of!lol
Tresspasses (Dec 27, 2004)
This is pretty good. I think you may want to try moving the hairline up though, and possibly adding more shading within the hair. I like how you did the eyes, but the placement of the pupils makes him seem slightly cross eyed. I really like the nose and the overall expression. Keep up the good work.
ILoveKenshin (Dec 27, 2004)
Hmm... the nose is ok.. The ear.. not trying to sound rude, but is an elf? >_> Uh, the head shape could use a little more pointedness. This is one of your better ones, though. ^-^

I was looking through the idea box and came across "a blouse leaving on a bicycle"...which makes a pretty funny picture. Here's what I came up with.

I've tried to finish this three times and my computer always crashes when I go to submit it. I tried on another computer too, and the applet won't load up when I hit revise (but will for a new drawing). This is really frustrating, does anybody know how I can finish this?

Nevermind, I managed to get it to work on my boyfriends laptop.

I managed to get this to work finally on my boyfriends laptop. I bow down to people who have the patience to use a touchpad regularly...it's hard! Somehow it doesn't look as good as it did last time.

Sorry if the colours look funky...I'm not used to laptop screens, and everything looks really different on here.
DinoFlorist (Dec 21, 2004)
Haha! I think you did a good job not only with the picture, but illustrating what could be a very abstract event. Nice!
davincipoppalag (Dec 21, 2004)
I agree! I love when people do idea box pictures,, this is great
Tresspasses (Dec 21, 2004)
Thank you for the nice comments. I really had a lot of fun doing this.

A burmecian red mage. I was thinking of Freya from FF9 and the similarities between her dragoon helm and a RM hat when I was making the hat, and decided to sort of. . . draw her wearing it. I like RMs. >>;

That is really good I like how the hair is shaped and colored it looks really good!!
Tresspasses (Dec 21, 2004)
Wow, when I looked at this I actually felt a blast of cold air. It really gave me chills. I can just imagine her evil thoughts as she blows a long cold winter all across the land.

Sincity: I vaguely remember the snow queen story too, though I don't know where you could find it.
sincity (Dec 21, 2004)
Staci, This came out awesome. I luffs the feel of the whole piece. I like the colors. Cool concept! Clox's idea is a good one still. :}

I think that the muffin king said it once...
tidus (Dec 20, 2004)
maybe an alein said it when he land ed here
Tresspasses (Dec 20, 2004)
I don't know...in case anyone is interested, I did find this on it:

in a nutshell

In few words; briefly.

This phrase -- or its Latin equivalent, at least -- appears all the way back in antiquity. The famous Roman orator Cicero is said to have mentioned a parchment copy of The Iliad so tiny that it could literally fit right into a nutshell. (from http://www.funwords.com/library/i.htm ).

An odd phrase, and nobody really seems to know where it came from.
