I think maybe you should give the poor ellipse tool a rest, maybe try some freehand. Real artists use their hands and talent, not just tools on a paint program.

OK, I like the shading but i messed up on the middle face. Overall I think its pretty good.

Belleza is just giving some helpful advice, so you'll know what to do next time... But I think you haven't done the conform-o-hair that much before, so there isn't much to worry about...And it's easy to see that you're on the practice board. Not many people use 200x200 size pic-windows. =p I can't remember what it is like using the practice board... Not too well, anyhow. I only used to use this one, and at rare occasions, large and others. Now I rarely use Practice... I kinda miss it... But my pics need more room to breathe, since my stupid lineart is too thick, and whatnot... Sigh.

Sure this looks kinda cool but I completely agree with Azel and Belleza. I'm really tired of seeing floating head's and rainbow colored blobs, no offence KO. Maybe you should draw a picture with a bunch of people and blobs. The people having bodies/arms/eyebrows and the blobs just.. being blobby. Or you should do like Azel and make some characters up then draw them until they're perfected. =]

As I was doing this, I was 2 hours into it.And then, a friend have me a link in the IM of evil, AOL Instant Messanger. I clicked it, and my page where the applet was it went to the URL I clicked. So basically, this took me 4 hours, but I was chatting and the like during the pic, so... ya... Anyhow, I hope everyone likes the shading. It took me forever...
