This story and picture weren't able to be deleted, or I would have deleted them. After Flubbles last comment, the memory is far too spiritual and wonderful to be have verbal excrement shat onto it.

I feel the effect immensly missDJ! I love the memory as much as your illustration about it! Christmas blessings to you and yours =)
Miss_DJ (Dec 7, 2010)
thanks, Lori and Elly...it's one of my favorite memories! Axil, I know..I'm not too worked up about it. wink.
Flubbles (edited Dec 8, 2010)
Thats not fair, making Axil feel all bad. Then winking at him like it was all a big joke, you should feel ashamed of yourself. That little boy took time out from pissing his bed to make you them wonderful little origami birds.

Yes, it looks better..thanks for answering me,..yeah it took Dr. Moony to get a reply. ? :\ Such a way with words though, did you write that? I have to say, CongoBob ...with your talent and you cook, too, have you ever thought of putting them all together somehow. Write, draw, cook?
Not that I'm so interested that you need reply, you can let someone else know.....just saying, like food for thought with the gifts you have. Nite.
Flubbles (Nov 29, 2010)
I never wrote it, it was the lyrics to a song from a soft drinks advert from the early 90's. Tony jackson from the band En- rage sang it, if you're interested here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYj5o4kQsXs&feature=related. Personally I dont consider myself to be that talented, I can think of a good few more talented people than me on this site who would be more equipped to further their talents in such a way.
Suntan (Nov 29, 2010)
There will always be those who are as, more and far more talented than you, but I was just thinking out loud, about what you have. Ok..thanks for the link.

I was thinking earlier how unpopular the name adolf was these days, and how it's a shame the name has gone out of fashion.
Teapot (Nov 28, 2010)
I never really looked at this before. My gosh it's beautiful, like a masterful pencil drawing...gorgeous fine texturing. I like how you can see the madness in those eyes...but I wish he didn't have that little smirky smile...makes me want to hurl. Talk about living forever in infamy. Who'd name their kid Adolph now other than a neo-nazi? Have you seen the movie "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas"?

I can't believe this isn't in the Showcase. Haven't you been sending in your protection money to the webmaster? Hmmmm?
Flubbles (edited Nov 28, 2010)
I did try quite hard on this, I even measured the proportions with the tip of my little finger. I dont care as much anymore, the results are more luck rather than judgment. Although I did try to get the proportions of the chair right because it would look silly if I got them drastically wrong. As far as the showcase is concerned, I think there have been bigger misjustices in the world.

Yeah; I've been told quite a lot to become an illustrator, but I can't draw a picture without something violent in it. It is a damn shame that photography has taken over, probably why I despise it so much. But, as with anything, there are certain exceptions.
Medical Illustrating is awesome, but art is a personal thing for me. I don't want someone to take it away from me, like they almost did in high school. (Dear God)
As soon as you take the fun out of arting, the inspiration and motivation is gone.
azure15 (Nov 4, 2010)
oooooh my gawd thats amazing! :D makes me happy :P
Kanuto (Nov 5, 2010)
I agree, violence is fun ;)

The lighting reminds me of some Vermeer paintings.

Frank gallagher my hero, whats with the new username?
davincipoppalag (Oct 23, 2010)
Nice work.. what was the OLD username
Teapot (Oct 23, 2010)
This is great. You got his pasty, bruised, alkie hung over skin so perfect! The eye in perpetual squint against the perpetual smoke from the perpetual fag. That show was wild...but I saw it about 5 or 6 years ago. First thing I ever saw Jame McAvoy and Anne-Marie Duff in. I think the woman who played Frank's girlfriend was the funniest but I don't remember her name.
