I know it does, I thought that too. I saw that news plastered about yesterday. This is the only face I've ever drawn where I started with a cross, like people who are schooled in art do.

I don't know, maybe, maybe not.. maybe I'm just thinking of anime doodles I've seen, I really don't know. Man, I'm flippin' tired right about now.

Are you talking about how to draw heads and faces by starting with an egg shape for the head, then putting a line half way down the face and from there measuring out the eyes, nose and mouth? It's a tedious process but it does help give a more accurate alignment of the face.

This reminds me of Ukrainian folk tale art.

You have very good use of color and light. Again these colors are so rich and your lighting is perfect.

I wanted to work from black and build something through it. I had attempted to do something from my imagination, but it wasn't turning out right, so I decided to work from a photograph as a learning experience. Thanks, 2draw!

You really are good. I feel the one thing missing is a small sparkle in the eye. Maybe just a small dot of white.

I agree with all of the comments on this one. I can not do anything legible from my imagination, almost everything I have ever done was from reference except for florals. I do especially love your skin tones and lighting on this though. Exquisite!
