The battle just started Derrick, wait awhile and the Hulk WILL get bigger. The madder he gets the stronger he gets, that's why I'm taking bets now. Last chance.

Just on an aside remember, Supes got more than just his strength going for him. Keep that in mind when you go to the betting window. XD.

Thank you Do0p, diet, comd, and derrick.

Trying out the airbrush tool and I'm really liking it :) I was inspired to do a portrait from an Arnold S. pic I seen :P

Sweetcell (May 23, 2006)
Wanted to comment on this before but it was late and I was tired. I love the composition of the piece, he looks melancholy but determined. Rather strong.
diablo_fan (May 23, 2006)
yeah same here it was also late here but anyway good draw as usual!

BEAUTIFUL!
Sweetcell (May 23, 2006)
I dunno, I get the view of a storm brewing not a peacful scene, just me I guesse, but this is a stunning piece. The mouse is hard to get used to again after a tablet isn't it. Looks to me you aren't rusty there.
Pseudonymous (May 23, 2006)
Thanks, Miss_DJ :)
Hmm...I'm not sure if it's a storm brewing or just a major heavy duty sunrise or sunset. Yeah - the mouse was hard to get used to again, and thank you.
Knockoff (May 23, 2006)
This is beautiful! I love the contrast with the clouds, you make me jealous. :D

His face looks a lil bit wide. :O
I like his eyes though, and the way you colored the lips. I can't ever draw lips without them look retarded.

Happy birthday. :)
Sweetcell (May 23, 2006)
I agree that the face is a little too wide but I love the coloring. Happy up and coming neko.

I like it.
Sweetcell (edited May 22, 2006)
In 16 minutes you did this. Amazing. I see so many things here for such a short time.

This would make a good icon.
Knockoff (May 22, 2006)
Mm, thank you, you two. I see it as the center being something of what looks like to be clouds, and clouds coming of from it, and rays of light, I like the angle the most. :]
Sweetcell (May 23, 2006)
For me what came to my mind Knockoff was a Native American shield. Maybe an ornamental one that 's used in ceremonies. It's simple but I love it.

Pseudonymous (edited May 23, 2006)
Thanks! ((Dave))

See what you did to me? :P
davincipoppalag (May 23, 2006)
Oh Oh.. shhhhhhh..
Sweetcell (May 23, 2006)
Oh to be able to do that in 24 minutes. For me I'm a fiddler, even if a piece is near spot on I fiddle with it (well most times)

So shiny and pretty, I love that color.

A picture from 2draw,Emily.No dip it looks like that picture,I know that at this point in time.
Sweetcell (May 20, 2006)
Here's a tip for line art, use a thick pen, on med or higher opacity, try to be as smooth as possible when you trace the sketch (on a different layer) then using the smooth erasure erase the thick lines to get the outline you like. You might have to expiriment but after a while it gets easier. Then on yet another layer you can color it without losing the integrity of the draw.

It's a good start, hope to see you do more.
Akechi456 (May 21, 2006)
Zomg~Thank yoouu~ I can color my picture now.xD I'm sucha tard.Layers hate meh.>_>

used a couple of Hogarth references. the torso looks odd partly because I had to crop it at a strange spot.

very interesting...i say intermediate
Sweetcell (May 22, 2006)
November Zack is an Elite Bastard, I think he can pretty much draw where he wants. The only real difference for most of the boards is size.

The only thing for me Zack are the collar bones, otherwise *yowza*.
davincipoppalag (May 22, 2006)
Yea..the collar bones look a little odd. Good study though

I have no idea who you're referring to, Sweetcell.
DeadlyBlondeArcher (edited May 20, 2006)
It's okay, Donna, we all went to concerts in the 70's that we don't remember going to. (well, late 70's, early 80's for me) (lol... just kidding, obviously it reminded her of something that you didn't intend) It's cool, whatever the inspiration. And I did NOT eat part of it, I ate ALL of it.

(I am so curious as to how you do these... what tools you use. Some of the designs remind me of the scrolley stuff on ribbon candy)
Sweetcell (May 20, 2006)
You'll have to forgive the old brain pan Donna, I thought I was commenting on your David Bowie piece Major Tom.....

Don't do drugs kids....
Miss_DJ (May 22, 2006)
I will give you a Donna-tool tutorial DBA if you teach me how to draw realism. oh yeah sure...like as if. Anyway, I'll memo or email you soon about that...but it's too late tonight...good night all...oh and Sweetcell...yep I had a feeling you meant Bowie...and oh my Gosh do I know about the brain and the effects of the 70's...how could I think I could do all those....and not come away with a bit of uh...damage?

Kraisa (May 19, 2006)
So yeah I drew this picture of Mr. Price there thinking I would do this movie...then I finished and realized he was quite a bit older in this...but I still like the movie and its what I wanted to do so there...I used a reference photo I found on the net.
And you can just imagine that he was younger...the camera adds twenty years right?

Good job on him ,Kraisa..age difference or not.
Kraisa (May 20, 2006)
Thanks for the kudos from all :)
and yes who doesn't!! Vincent Price is awsome!!! My computer used to laugh like him when ever it got turned off!
(You should all see this movie...it's nice campy horror. And the original House on Haunted Hill...that one actually had me laughing.)
