The whole thing is so nice but the position of her hand, arm and shoulders is really wonderful. It totally captures the sensual delight of smoking. I like the palette, too, especially her hair colour.

Do I need 3-D glasses to see the body part 'pop' out in this painting? :P Is this wood related to my woodcock? Is it an abstract? I'm so confused. But I don't mind because it's wonderful regardless.

Thanks Dave and E! This is not up to my standards at all, but I did want to draw something here since I have not in so long. For some reason I just can't do a decent drawing here and that is why I stay away for so long. Thanks Firecracker nice to see you, Suntan and enjoy again! Thank you for your comment too montezmaria! Interesting.. but it's probably easier only when you use an upside down ref.I don't see how it's easier drawing from imagination or a straight ref. Btw- I didn't see a face, but a bird in a nest until I read the comments. :)
