I just can't get over how "real" those goldfish look.....they look so alive!!! You really did a great job with this draw....and I agree with "MissDj"....the water does look "WET"!!! Beautiful draw!! :)

yes..the idea is great, but how you did it..it's incredible:)I tried to fix the splotchiness in the bg but I just made it worse.. can't see it while I'm using the applet .. but anyway, I've gotta get this out of my studio.

lots of rain here in the south too....still better than the cold any day!!!! (btw, qt, you DO have your own style!).Sunny, I'm sure it makes you feel great to know how many of us recognize your art before we see the artist's name!! Is this girl wearing matching panties too??? haha..well, you have to brighten up the days somehow, DMV! Rainbows can do it, most times. ;) Thank you all for the response to this, I almost deleted. It was a just before bed drawing that I had to get out. x :)------- HAHA, elly! I don't know about great! lol...you recognize it because it all looks the same!!=O I have tried my damnedest to change my faces..I've tried using refs of famous people, I've tried many expressions hoping that will help, I've tried different medium....but my hand and eye just never can! Even in clay!! I wish I had the talent to draw a real likeness. I admire so much, people who can do that. Thank you for the compliment and yes, you are right about the panties. :P

Based on a bookmark I have, showing hands cradling a seedling in a small mound of soil, evocative of Spring and new beginnings; it seemed appropriate for Easter.

This is really pretty, it looks sort of like copper to me. I have a copper butterfly that was made at a Mall quite a few years ago and burnished and it has this sort of effect. Love it!
