anyone wanna join the Jhonen Vasquez Collab? i'm making it right now :) if you wanna join, just tell us who you'll draw so we can make sure no one is drawing the same people. i'm drawing the nail bunny from the JTHM comics i think it'd be easier to do it on a black background for those of us doing chartacters from non-coloured comics so the bg will be black.

I don't usually draw solid pixely stuff, but I wanted to try it XD This is supposed to be me :D It was going to be Hana.. but yeah @.@ So it's both of us! This is a real outfit we have. I think I am gradually getting my drawing skills bad :o The pants and the purse are inaccurate o.o |

I like the concept behind this, using a webcam point of view. You may not have intended it but you've actually just made a fairly accurate commentary on the modern subculture surrounding webcams. You made this out of boredom, and a lot of the people I know use their webcams simply because it's there and something to do, and the character you've drawn has sort of a narcissistic expression while she's showing her face in the camera. I think this is a great picture really, for the social connections it has in it.

Only if I spend more than 1 hour typing a mulitple page comment, which I have done before several times on other sites. Don't worry short comments are good too, the important thing is what's in the comment not how long it is.

So quickly? O_o I think that I only pratice in the paper... And in Photoshop... I think it got worse than my other draw, 'cuz my mouse was destroyed >< and the mouse I'm using is a old ball one... I know that soon you'll be drawing in the Intermediate! ^^

I love the hair and eyes! Wow! Such shiny beauitfulness if that makes sense. But some things just kinda look strange like the foreheads a bit big lookin, and the lines just looks so light and small, it's sorta weird compared to the rest of the picture. Thicker black lines, no outline, or outlining with the colour of the part you're outlining would look better. I hope you understood that last part xD |

I like the background actually. It fits well with the picture and doesn't have too uch detail so we can better focus on the character's face without being distracted. I specialized as a background artist for several years actually, so for me it's foregrounds I need to work on...

Cute! ^^ The lineart is really good ^.^ The face might be sticking out a little bit, though. Also, I was thinking, and it is a way I learn to get better. Look at other people's pictures, see how everything is positioned, see how large everything is compared how large other things are. Try out new things, etc. You learn from it, and it makes you a better artist, if you practice the new things you learn.
