This is an old fox character of mine. I'm very interested in iconic styles of art.There probably won't be many people interested in this next part, but just so you know I'll say it anyways. During character design and developement I kept slowly changing parts of her personality, name, apperance, etc., until she became my character Rin, probably my most used character in art/games. Since the end result of Rin is different enough from the original design I was able to remake Reiko as a seperate character on her own, and since she was the predecessor to Rin I just call Reiko her mom.

A few of my characters, mostly just reiko and rin actually, have humaniod forms and how they switch I was going to explain with another drawing at least a month ago but I got tired of the drawing and deleted it before ever taking its status out of being hidden. I'm going to make it again though at some point.

This octopus-like creature lives in dreams. It was created by dreams and once it had enough mass could begin molding and shaping the dreams around it.The idea is that when we create something we draw upon all our past experience. It came out of my imagination and past experience, gained mass by the light produced by your screen, and affected you by adding to your lived experience, making it real enough to have influence. Just like parts of it are affected by my own experience, now parts of future works will be affected by this one.

heh, nice picture. lovely cloudly effect. looks a bit liek a painting you might find in a childrens book or on a Magic the Gathering card, like fin Beast said. :D

I'll finish it later, but wanted to show an unfinished version first. Don't worry, it'll be cool when it's done.I tried a new way of coloring I just made up as I went. I think I'll make a certain other drawing in this same style.

yeah, it was titled grey octopus (couldn't think of anything) but that was before I colored it.

A water nymph after a light rain.I named her with the help of this elven naming site. Means something like Rain-Spring, if I did it right. If not then that's her name and she's keeping it either way. the whole thing drawn with a 1 pixel pencil at 200% zoom. @_@

Good color!!!!!I really like how you draw. I feel like it's done. I just did a few color adjustments. I had shown this to my advisor at school and he agreed that it was probably something that I've seen in the past, since it looked familiar to him too, and he thinks it may have had a strong enough impact on me that I'm now unconsciously channeling forgotten memories of it here.
