Good job, Sakura. The one part that strikes me the most seem to be those large eyes. *Grins*
The few things I see wrong here are lineart and proportions. By proportions, I mean that the eyes are lopsided--one is larger than the other. You can go back and fix that if you'd like. By line-art, I mean that the basic skeleton (The black elements of the picture) is a smudge too scratchy. You might want to fix that as well.
Other than that, wonderful peice. I hope you dont' take the cticism to heart--after all, this is a learning experience. Great job, keep up the good work. *Grins*

Umm..well, yea, My proportions are always a tad off, I can't draw proportionally =3 And well..I'm am kinda good at eyes..I like to call meself "Uber-Chibi Devil-MORON" *grins* I'm a comodian if you ask meh

more testing on shades...dont bother looking for great art.. iam jsut good at shading heh...so if u want me 2 shade somethign for you please ask me =)

Perhaps sometime, you could try "Dynamic Smooth Nearly-3D Shading," it's pretty, fun, and pretty fun.
For Solid Shading, if you'd like, you could add more shades of Darker Colors, and maybe one or two of Lighter Colors...
