A special picture for Silvair, since I owe her big time for her patience.I had to incorporate these items in the image: -clock -wings -fox -lantern -ribbon -fireflies -key I need to find a place to put the key... o__o Any suggestions? And, I changed the clock to a pocketwatch D|;; Sorry. [Yes, that's a pocketwatch in his hand. Like Ed's from FullMetal Alchemist] He's actually not late. He's just paranoid.

So i just discovered this stuff is really hard. >.< do you guys all use those special drawing pad things? (needs one*) Uh.. i have no idea how to go about the water and make the moon more realistic. (yah shame on me for doing the backround last...) Suggestions WELCOME!

Wow o_O how do you do colors like that! omg XD the eyes are so pretty. I'm sorry i can't give you any good suggestions, i'm not really awesome at this -.-;; . compare to you i feel .. tiny. really tiny XD

switch the opacity down really low and you can get some cool effects. the screen tool is really cool too.. aw dont feel tiny! this graphic art stuff is a headache...

Yeah, I use a Wacom drawing tablet. Wacom's Bamboo Fun (really stupid name, yeah) product line is a great way to get into CG painting. There's a lot to learn even by just using the mouse too, though. |

Ahh sorry! Forgot to add the description!http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mid-Autumn_Festival This is a depiction of the Mid-Autumn Festival/Moon Festival/Mooncake Festival/Lantern Festival that is practiced by many East Asians. People celebrate it to worship the moon and show reverence to dieties like Chang'e (whom I've drawn). Farmers also celebrate the end of the summer haversting season with this occasion. I based the picture off of a few lines in the version 4 of the stories of the Mid-Autumn Festival, found on wikipedia: "Although Houyi wanted to shoot her in order to prevent her from floating further, he could not bear to aim the arrow at her. Chang'e kept on floating until she landed on the moon.While she became lonely on the moon without her husband, she did have company. A jade rabbit, who manufactured elixirs, also lived on the moon." And I also based it off of the wikipedia images depicting the characters of Chang'e and the Jade Rabbit.
