It's supposed to be a portrait of me. Though it's not quite exact~ But if you think about it. I 'am' using a mouse. I'll add a link to the reference when I finish. Also, this is sort of low light, almost, because of darkness and having to have lamp turned on.

Funny... Maiko's right, when you squint, the teeth blur into lips. Maybe he just wants to kiss you? In any case, very cool pic.

Wow! I was overwhelmed and impressed with all the great submissions. Only one entry can win (and its pretty subjective), but they all were very good and I was impressed with almost all of them. She looks more elvish then fairy-like. And yah, shading shouldn't matter that much. Iterpret it how you like, but it's really the artists decision. She created it! :D Anyways, great drawing, yes very minty ;)*sigh* think i let this picture and some of the comments get to me too much...to be honest it made me completly go off drawing...i havent done a thing "arty" in 2 or so weeks which isnt like me..i..liked this picture when i 1st posted it but now i cant stand to look at it anymore...think i'll just set it as finished and leave well alone....guess i gotta dig up some confidence from somewhere before i draw something again lol..(something ive always lacked) grr...

I really like the colors you used for the skin on this, the pinks and the oranges. I especially like that you didn't make her stick-skinny--definitely a thumbs-up in my book.

How exactly do the rankings progress (Newcomer, Apprentice, Artist, etc)? I know Apprentice starts with 100 points, Artist with 200, and Dabbler with 300, but what happens beyond that? And is Dabbler relatively new?--I don't remember ever seeing it before. (Whew, lots of questions.)

well..i had no idea what to draw,,,wasnt really gonna do anything for contest but..i felt like drawing something silly :)the trumpet nosed brollyboogle..disguises itself from other creatures (and plants) by trying to look like a flowering plant...its feet are light and large..cup shaped so to avoid triggering any mines.. the "brolly" on its head helps keep the animal dry..also helps against falling coconuts...it mostly eats plants (tho it will be quite happy to eat anything else it comes across too)
