This is stylish, I like the colour choices and how you didn't shade it. Neat stuff. :D
Resha-Murdock (Aug 2, 2007)
^^ Thanks~
concannon (Aug 2, 2007)
Looks great with the flat color - it's wonderfully comic book-y.

Whoo, blatant misuse of nouns!
Sweetcell (Aug 2, 2007)
Like this a lot (thought it was psychofox's for a minute there) Nice lovely solids. Great to have you back.

Kloxboy (Aug 2, 2007)
Almost everything you want is just a push of a button away. No process or understanding needed, just product and satisfaction.

I like the composition, the blue against the dead warm-colored field looks awesome. That tree is pretty rockin too, I like how it's somewhat transparent, like a ghost.
Sweetcell (Aug 2, 2007)
The title fits this, because from what I've seen over the years the intellegent rate of people are becoming as withered as this tree. Sad innit? But there's still the lovely golden field and bright blue sky, so some people get through the cracks of underdevelopment.

*whoah* that was deep. :)

I've been hanging out with a lot of younger kids this summer because I worked at the pokemon booth at comic con, and this week I'm volunteering at a cooking camp to help out the middle school aged kids. So... I guess I've been missing when I was that age.
When I was 12 I met Lark, and she started to call me Canada because we had this multicultural project in school so my friend and I decided to do Canada. I'm like, 1/4th French Canadian, so blah to that Filipino group who lied to me and were pretty racist toward me 'cause I'm only half. ;_;

Mm yeah. So I drew this when I was 12. Yes, those are Ed's shoes. :D
Uuhh. I'm really bored today, so please excuse me drawing so much. ^^;

Punky (Aug 2, 2007)
Canadian history is kind of boring. But this is cool, and you've obviously improved like crazy since you were twelve. :D
OlFrozenTearslO (Aug 3, 2007)

Sweetcell (Aug 3, 2007)

This is Oliver, the next OC of mine. Oliver is Sora's older brother.
He's 14 years old, and like Sora, is an ermine.
I created him when I was in 8th grade, when I started watching the food network a lot. His name Oliver sounds like Olive, so that's why he has olive green hair and reddish-orange eyes (sort of like... spanish olives?).
Oliver's a total bibliophile, and spends all of his time in his room or in the library reading books. He spends so much time by himself that he doesn't really have any friends, nor does he really talk to other people. ^^;

Lawls, this is the first picture I ever drew of him.

I really hope you'll keep drawing once you're all growed up.
Will check in a minute your exact age, but if I'm not mistaken it was much older than 14, right?!

Edit: yup I was right, 14... I admire your eye for the softer colors and smooth lines. :D
Sweetcell (Aug 2, 2007)
Ahhh, maybe Oliver can join a book club and meet like minds. He's cute and I want to steal your coloring secrets.

I drew this by hand but I know my digital portraits are better than my hand drawn for some odd reason. I guess I can get detail done better with a mouse and tablet then with pencil and paper. Here is the Picture I drew it from.

Hey, it's Rosalyn. :D

Really loving piece. I like his goatee. ;p
Sweetcell (Aug 2, 2007)
So good to see you back Rosalyn. This is just amazing, what gets me is the goetee, it's so soft, not harsh at all, and it each has it's on point/plu on the skin. Wonderful.

I've never been to a Dunkin' Donuts. That may have to do with the fact that I don't think they exist in Canada.
This is really cool though, I like the colours you used.
Sweetcell (Jul 31, 2007)
I think I actually saw one downtown Punky, on Graham there, could be wrong.
It's amazing, the map of America LOOKS like a map of America. Shit, wow and all that.

Kraisa (Jul 30, 2007)
ok see he stopped a while ago, right before a rain storm, to admire the pretty little flower. He was never the brightest guy and sat for quite a while admiring the flower as it grew and finally wilted...by then many rains had come and gone and he had slowly rusted. Now he is stuck admiring the grandchildren and great grandchildren and great great grandchildren of the original flower as they grow from tiny seeds, live their lives then wilt away. It just so happened that this season one of the beautiful blossoms grew in the exact same place as the original giving him a particularlly good view of a little late bloomer.
