She is. But she's pushing 13. XD
13's a little farther off from me.

Btw, Star, Who is this? It looks like Alexi with Tien markings...?
starflame (May 13, 2007)
uh dude, this IS Tien.
Celestial-Fox (May 13, 2007)
She looks kind of masculine.
starflame (May 13, 2007)

He was uncertain as he circled the camp, securing the area from possible threats. At any moment a spider could spring it's under-leaf trap, some rodent might think of him as lunch or worse, he could be smashed by a flicking tongue... And then there was the wrath of the Collector they had escaped that he was determined to not be caught off guard by. With the one used to this task out of commission, he would have to accept that if he were to fall, there would likely be one quick enough to come to his aid.

Something for DBA to color. Have fun honey.

Setting it to finished because I need space in my studio.
He'll still be waiting for Cindy to color it. Have no fear.

I just loved what you described I had to change the title. :)

Simply beautiful coloring, I expected something this good from you two working together again ^_^.
fleeting_memory (Apr 22, 2007)
OH! fantastically colored DBA! I was afraid this was going to be left undone. *applause*
Sweetcell (May 12, 2007)
I had meant to comment when you were finished but so many pictures to look at and draw. He is boo-ti-ful hun, just a sweet sweet bear and seriously, your background is soooooo much better than the refs. It's so fun coloring aint it? Thanks for painting him, I say we do this again soon. Maybe..... TIGGER? My jumpy bumpy Tigger. :D

Just on a side note did you know Winni the Pooh was created after a real bear named by his owner after his home town? True story, a Canadian soldier in WW11 found an orphan cub and raised him and he became the mascot for his unit and he was taken with them over seas to London, but the soldier couldn't take care of him when his unit was called to duty so the London Zoo took him in and raised him. His story became known and the bear became famous, and one day an author brought his young son to see him and the boy fell in love with the bear so much, the author created a story revolving around this bear. The author of course was A.A. Milne, and his son Christopher, who Christopher Robin was named from. And the bear in the London Zoo that came across the ocean with his Canadian keeper was named after the Canadian soldier's home city, where the bear was found. The city was named Winnipeg, my home city, and Winni (Winnipeg) is one of our famoes exports.

Just a little FYI. :)

Almost. 1/5 stars.
Punky (May 12, 2007)
I kind of like this. It looks pretty trippy.

to RogerAndEbert: Just wondering, why the heck do you put a star rating on pictures? Wtf man.
MelissaMissy (May 12, 2007)
I agree 23831. Your line art is very good but your colouring...well not so good. Keep trying.

The ultimate indignity...to have a beef label when you're a goat.....
Punky (May 10, 2007)
I like the way you colored the goat and how you drew the little goat legs.

Punky, Joe: You're both welcome to print this out if you like, for personal use of course, you have my permission. You got a point too Zack, yay for making comments. :D
Zack (May 11, 2007)
haha, I had forgotten about points. I meant that I agreed with what he said, kind of a geeky way of saying "ditto."
Kloxboy (May 11, 2007)
Haha, I see. I'm not very fluent in "geek speak" but I've got the "dork dialect" down. :D

Punky (May 9, 2007)
I really love the all those soft pastel colours you manged to put in there, they all blend so nicely without looking like vomit.
Beautiful picture, I think it's really sweet and gorgeous.
patienceisoverrated (May 9, 2007)
i really really like these colours, and how they sort of glow and pulse. it reminds me of supersmooth chalk pastel.

it's a nice thing to draw :]

So many different things you're putting up here Joe~..Great lines!
HunterKiller_ (May 7, 2007)
Nice bold linework here.
JK-Arts (May 8, 2007)
You know me i have no style just every style.
Zack (edited May 8, 2007)
I think you used variety in line thickness very well here. I don't think the background color really works with the feeling you're trying to convey though; it seems like a smoldering red would work better.
