During many years of camping, my favorite time of the day was early morning....sipping on my first cup of coffee..listening to the chirps of the birds waking up and watching the sun come up...

This looks much better .I like that sunlight out on the horizon and the water is improved too, I think it helps that you both share the same memories! I went in to see if I could figure out how to use that applet..and I can't. Paint remains an enigma to me... sorry

I like this, but I think I would like it better if Abe was darker so he seemed to float in front of the flag instead of in it? Mary Todd Lincoln wasted coffee???

Abraham Lincoln actually led a very interesting life. His wisdom and temperance came later. He was really a dark horse candidate. His motives, I believe, were pure, but many of them were probably not for the reasons that people idealize him. I think that if you were to research a president, he would be one of the most interesting ones for you to look up. Also, George Washington rules.

Try some highlights in varying shades of the water color with low opacity..take some small ones almost all the way to white and make some little squigglys to suggest movement...

Very cute dog and that is better bubblage than I could ever do, so more power to ya! lol Can't imagine a way to make it look any more like real bubbles. Most dog's fur don't clump up when they get a bath, every dog I've had hasn't anyway. It's only messy when ya give it a good "fluff up" with a towel and that's hardly done when there's still bubbles all over it lol :-D

I definiatley, totally, and completely agree although not just golden retrievers but all dogs. Who ever said Diamonds are a girls best friend and Dogs are a mans best friend was so mixed up
