"The summer sun is fading as the year grows old and darker days are drawing near.
The winter winds will be much colder..now you're not here.
I watch the birds fly south across the autumn sky and one by one they disappear.
I wish I was flying with them...now you're not here.
Like the sun through the trees you came to love me, like a leaf on a breeze you blew away.
Through Autumn's golden gown we used to kick our way, you always loved this time of year.
Those fallen leaves lie undisturbed now...because you're not here.....because you're not here..."

"Breakers crash at my feet, I count them like lambs in my sleep. They come at me steady, they know I'm not ready. They pound on my mattress door. Have they got a big one in store. Losing you, I heard I was losing you, that's not the only thing that I've got to lose...I've got to lose the deep sea blues, look at these blues, deep sea blues...."

Jenny is very pretty in pink. :)
Axil62 (May 12, 2004)
Nope, not in a play, she just looks like that. The beauty mark is a metal stud piercing and her hair is usually not quite that "done up". Thanks.
Jack_Fox (Sep 2, 2004)
Cool colors, I dig...Peace, Jack

This was not so much about getting it "correct" as it was about just trying to convey a feeling, a memory of summers past, an innocence. The colors seemed brighter then and the sun was warm and comfortable, not hot and beating. There were still mysteries to investigate and legends still not proven false. My bike was shiny and new, I was fast as the wind on that thing, there was happiness and hope. Details weren't the point and if someone told me something was impossible, I doubted it.

I got pissed off here a while back, acted like a two year old, threw a fit and blacked em out. No I don't show anything anywhere, I mostly end up just giving it away. I've sold a few but I have no dicipline so I hardly ever paint for real anymore. But I'm going to soon, it's comming, the urge is growing, just not quite yet.
dixielandcutie (Apr 14, 2004)
i think this is my favorite of all yours...you are really an amazing artist
DeadlyBlondeArcher (Apr 14, 2004)
pssst... Pandora... alot of them were totally great on the second to last view, you can click on that and still see them. Some of my favorites here are in his gallery and I still go there and look at them like that. :)

New Girl here..I was in disbelief when I saw this. Thought it was a photo, amazing work you do! The texture of the skin, the eyes so real, the muscle of her arms, the lightness on her shoulders..I must say Aw Mighty Master.. I bow down to you..:)
shell (Mar 1, 2011)
That does it. I've made up my mind. I'm going to draw a black nude and don't try to stop me. So many women though, should I go for male?

"A military stationed in the dessert. Can we resolve the past? lurking jaws, joints of time debased, to come of age in a dry place. holes and caves. My friend drove an hour each day from the mountains. The bus gives you hard on with books in your lap...someone shot the bird during the afternoon show, they give prizes for the the best dancers..spades dance best from the hip." Jim Morrison

I am trying to refrain from leaving such a simple comment as "lol" to that last remark...

You've got your labels for "stupid" and "smart" backwards.
gunslinger (Sep 29, 2010)
Yes, I agree with artsy...your labels are backwards :)

Cute idea though!

I'd have guessed the pink (O!) would have been reserved for the Left side by most right-wing estimations.

was 55 when, astride her horse, she watched the British Navy defeat the Spanish Armada. Cate Blanchett was in her 30's when she did the movie. This is really frustrating because every couple of minutes the drawing tools just stop working for about 10 seconds. I don't know if it's my computer or what but it sure makes drawing a pain in the butt. The real QE1 was swarthy with reddish hair and brown eyes, a hooked nose and thin lips.
Here's a link to the ref photo.
